I´ll post a couple of my pics from a spontanious cruise with HIG6241 and VolksBuster on PS3

@Stripedhemi: btw if your lookin for any of the locations for the xbox cruise you can find the pics in the crew snapmatic and if you click on that location marker under the pic you see exactly were it is on the map

I only noticed the front of Volsbuster's surfer after I had posted the pics. I have no idea why his looks different. Maybe he can enlighten us...

In regards to this van?:

 

It's not my van, but I'm sure that It's got the same primary and secondary paint colour. The lighting might be throwing you off by making it look like two different colours. Here's some examples.

 

Chrome primary and matte black secondary:

Yep I've got an all green one which has no stripes on the front as both colours are the same

Anyone know if you can have pearlescent paint on the bottom of the bus or is it just the top?

I think it does. On all my cars the pearlescent shows on the primary and secondary color, but it is hardly visible on the Surfer since the secondary surface is one flat piece of metal.

 

 

 

Random shot, I think this is the last time it will be this color. Respray! $$$

no idea how this will go with so many people following us now but I guess it'll be a first come first serve affair and if one lobby fills someone can run another...

 

will be around 10.30pm, i'll simply invite those who are showing online within the crew members list, so whoever turns up gets in!

we shall meet at the beach carpark on the southwest of the map (see pic)

 

haven't had a chance to sort a route or stop off points but I think we should start by having a chat and taking a few pic then head up the west coast and maybe across to sandy shores stopping off a few times along the way for photo's

 

Will probably setup a crew only lobby so just jump in I guess? I ususally only enter lobbies via invite so I know its private so im not sure if theres a search option for lobbies? either way it'll be first come first servered till the lobby is full (if there are spaces then I may go thru the crew list in pause menu and send invites but again whoever turns up gets in)

 

hoping this works well & if not we can try something else for the next one

Have a look at these pics of a Surfer that I painted in various colours for comparison. As with any vehicle (not just Surfers), the pearlescent is selected via the primary colour, but it actually gets applied over both the primary and secondary colours*. The following pics are of the same van with "Bright Orange" pearlescent applied in both pics. The first has "Bright Green" primary and "Cream" secondary, the second one has the colours reversed.

 

 

The pearlescent is over the entire vehicle, but it is much more apparent over the green than it is over the white. How visible the pearl is depends on the colour underneath it. No pearls show up very well over a white base colour.

 

*excluding Chrome. Chrome is not affected by a pearlescent:
