I linked mine just fine and got the LifeInvader bonuses but still to this day have not gotten the submachine gun, Elegy, or the extra haircuts. I heard mixed responses that you need to me an XBL Gold member...though others deny this. Created a ticket Social Club ticket which I've gotten no response to. Imagine my surprise lol - in all fairness though I'm sure they are extremely overloaded right now. Edit: OH! Meant to actually answer. When you log into Social Club, go to the Profile section up at the top. In the Link Accounts section there should be an option for your XBOX LIVE Gamer tag, along with PLAYSTATION Network ID, Facebook, etc... To my understanding, to even have an XBL account you must also have a Windows Live ID, which you may need to reset the password to if you don't know it/rarely use it like I do. Anyway though, once you sign in successfully it'll give you a confirmation that the accounts have been linked successfully. I hear what you're saying about having it under another account but I think it's still got your Windows Live ID registered because I wanted to change mine to my Gmail address but I think it told me it'd still associate the actual account with the former.
