the game is very good

rockstar are just being greedy bastards with this whole cash card scam and nerfing missions while there's far more important issues to worry about

 

so yes it's the best game out there atm, doesn't mean rockstar is perfect or doing everything right

There's nothing wrong with rockstar. They are thinking things over on how to handle all the bratty glitchers. It's better then coming to a quick , unrational conclusions.

 

What's wrong with cash cards, it's just a shortcut method of earning in game currency. They aren't forcing it on anyone.. It's perfectly easy to unlock the things if you had any frkn patience. The cash cards is just an option for impatient brats.. But then again, they probably are broke in real life cause they too lazy and selfish to.. Heaven forbid, actually work!

it's about buisiness models, I don't mind them wanting money to maintain servers and whatnot but this is the wrong way to go about it

turns the whole game into a grind fest requiring ridiculous amounts of play time in order to aquire all the items in game

and the whole thing is just commercialist BS.

 

 

 

I think you miss the whole point of playing the game.

 

In GTA 4 they gave out cash to get levels. Levels only unlocked minor clothing options and people kept wanting things to actually buy.. So now we get all these options GTA V and people want to think it has to be some sort of grind.

 

But the funny part is, GTA O has only been out for a few weeks and people act like its such a grind. As if everything needs to be handed to them in a few days or its chore and they will be forced to buy cash cards.....lol?

 

Cash cards are just an option.. An option that currently doesn't even work yet.

Yes, they whine about grinding and lack if variety.. Then you see half the topics 'what's the one mission I can make the most money??'

 

How about just playing to have fun and any money/unlocks/car mods/etc. is just bonus?

 

I look forward to gradually playing this for months and having unlocks to look forward to as well. And where most games have the same 3 or so maps ( DM or racing ) we get 20+, custom editor, parachuting, survival, coop missions, and additional content.

 

Its those kind of players that simply annoy everyone.

 

I myself have been having a blast with friends. This game is so much fun its really mind blowing.

 

Theres really no game that comes close to what GTA V (O) is pulling off.

 

You obviously never played GTA IV multiplayer.

one thing i dont understand is the people constantly whining on this forum that gtao in awful,if i think a game is awful i dont go anywhere near a forum associated with it.their problem is that they think their opnion on the game is one that everyone else should agree with,sorry whiners,everyone has their own opnion,just go play something else.

It's not a grindfest.

 

I have always thought in the early days of unlocks, when CoD did it, it's too easy to have everything in a week.

 

It's not a cash grab, well maybe a little (nothing wrong with that )it's trying to make the game last. I personally like to play a game to constantly unlock and get new things. Also, it's nice to always have a rank to try and reach / accomplish.

 

If I can do all the stuff within a week, or couple days, I just find it tough to keep playing. What's the point? Sure it's fun but there's that lack of accomplishing anything. But if I keep having a goal to reach highest rank, or buy an apartment, car, weapon, or whatever else.. It motivates me to keep playing for months and months because there's always that goal to accomplish.

 

Problem is brats like to be trolls, so it goes against their style of play.. So they glitch, troll, farm.. Then they get bored after a week,, well duh.

 

But I enjoy this game regardless of rank or unlocks, the sheer variety and hilarious ragdolls physics makes each time I play feel very unique.

Sad thing is, most of the people who play love the game and don't waste their time complaining. I love to visit the forums and see what other players are up too and learn some new things. Yet I have to sift through all these bullsh*t threads of people constantly whining.

It's the best game in the world for some, and not for everyone, currently the best game I ever played is Jagged alliance 2, yep everyone it's taste. Good game none the less.
