What is the difference in the two Sniper Rifle Scopes?

You can go into thermal mode with one of them by pressing right dpad

I Always assumed the advanced scope zoomed more since that's what it said in the description

didn't even think about the thermal mode working online

if I recall correctly in SP you could only use it at certain set points during missions or something

have to try it out

Nah, tried this with both scopes on both sniper rifles, no thermal
