So what's the point of this?

Did you read the title? I'm trying to revisit the threads from before release where people were bragging about buying cash cards and putting it all into Ammunation stock since we all have to buy ammo they'd get rich and we wouldn't.

I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.

If you read between the lines it is not only relevant but useful for a number of reasons. Some of you need too much hand holding and explaining.

Everyone was posting on here about how they would buy a cash card and put it into ammunition stock and get filthy rich because everyone has to buy ammo. There were thousands of these posts with people acting very smug.

Now there is not only no stock market , as was promised by rockstar, but there are no cash cards either so i'm just wondering how these same people feel two weeks on and what they are going to do with the money instead, and if they are still so sure that when there is a stock market, if there ever is one, if they will still invest their money in it since they are so certain that everyone buying ammo will cause it to skyrocket.

They blitzed the glitches so long and hard they'll never need to buy stocks or cash cards ever...

I did. Now pissed.

Thanks for your honesty. I'd like to hear from more people in the same boat.

All the loud mouthed or a good portion of them glitched. They have enough money to play 10 GTA games by now. This forum here is about 1% of the whole player base, IF there are that many to begin with. A forum is never representative of the large player base. I HOPE the vast majority will keep their money in the bank and only daytrade, rather than gamble and most likely lose to big money stock manipulations.

There, I held your hand and walked you across Explaining Lane.

I think R* has just given up with the online in game bawsaq.. they will probably just release a totally fixed one and far too late, doubt anyone will even use it.

I am extremely disappointed with the bawsaq situation.

Ignore listed since all you ever want to do is argue with me.

On another note, i'm curious if rockstar ever actually said buying ammunition would cause AmmuNation stock to go up or if this is just something people with wild imaginations came up with.

I argue with a lot of users on this forum. It is refreshing to see such a token of maturity from a fully grown woman, or man...

Firstly, I am a card carrying member of the CPUSA, so capitalism and it's nasty practices are no stranger to me, but Something doesn't add up here. If 99% of the player base purchase ammo from Ammu-Nation, it's stock will consistently be stable. If there is no competition or viable alternative to Ammu-Nation, it is in sense, a monopoly. Any player investing in its stock is at minimum guaranteed a safe investment or even a nice return. I do not see R* ever "guarnteeing" anything in game, especially anything money related. So...

R* will have to make a "coke" to its "Pepsi", or investing in Ammu-Nation will be just another savings account for your player with the possibility of a return, and very little chance of loss.

( I see this working brilliantly in a Cluckin' Bell vs. Burger Shot scenario, just not in the ammo market as of yet.)

This was just my thoughts. Sorry in advance, I am not an Econ major, just a Communist with an axe to grind.

Admiral, at first I liked you. You seemed like a cool guy, but you are posting a LOT of threads and most of them don't accomplish anything. I post a bit much but at least my last thread got me 48 crew members :p

I'm bragging about my PIS stock. Did the Lester missions so I couldn't get the billions that everyone has and I'm too lazy to play a new playthrough as of the moment. My 37 million heist money is now 300 million and growing for each character. Oh yeah, theadmiral I'm bragging about that ;)

Typically when a company sells a lot of product and posts a profit, their stock's price is inclined to rise. Although it is true that we do not know the details of Ammu-Nation's expenses and overhead... for all we know the guy behind the counter is embezzling. And they are open 24/7; that's got to involve a lot of overtime.
