I have a male and female character. SUCH IS THE MIRACLE OF MULTIPLE CHARACTER SLOTS.

 

In summary, entire thread is pretty dumb and very pointless. Do I mind guys playing as female characters? No. Do I immediately assume that if they are, they've got deep-seated unresolved sexual issues? No, because i'm too busy enjoying the game to be a judgemental moron.

There's a difference between a man playing a female character and a man roleplaying a female character. Just playing opposite gender is common and mostly innocent, pixels are sexy and people just like looking at sexy things, that's why soft porn exists. There are numerous other reasons for it, this is just one example.

Roleplaying opposite gender is more or less creepy though and I think the four main reason for doing it: 1) Just for laughs. 2) To get free stuff. 3) Confusion of one's sexual identity. 4) Wanting to actually be the other gender. And personally I think the first two are creepier than the last two.

Veggies are for bunnies, I'm very comfortable eating pizzas, I only weight 60kg anyways Also, it's hard to make salad suitable for me as I'm allergic to most veggies and fruits. Cross-allergy, look it up!

If the scale is correct in GTAO. Females have a smaller hitbox. Same reason why alot of players play as little girls in other MMOs. Smaller body = Less likely to get shot/hit with spells.

So yeah I've been reading through the forums, and I always play a male character for good reason. That being said there are quite a few people that do this "Roleplay" as a female thing. Not just playing a female toon. For example a post I read eariler in this thread about a kid using a Voice Changer to sound more feminine! To me thats just creepy as f*ck. I remember when I played my first MMO ( granted it was early 2000's ) It was Asherons Call, and I made a female toon. Well I totally regret it every nerd that could tell my toon had tits was messaging me, and hitting on me. Some didn't even stop when I said " I'm a dude " *lol*

 

Anyway I've heard multiple kids doing this voice changer thing, and the creepy thing to me is... I can still tell it's a guy! I mean the voice changer is just not that great espically on PS3 *lol* Still there is a difference in somone running around with a female toon, and somone literally pretending to be female. A guy being a female toon doesn't bug me it's when they actually use voice changers, and actually pretend they are a girl to get idk something out of it. So I choose option number one! For those of you just playing the game as a female I could care less as long as you don't pretend your a female! *lmfao*

Well it's a combination of things. You benefit from watching a perfectly sculpted women figure on screen for hours and you can always tell other players you'll give them a bj to get out of situations or gain benefits haha. Yep works all the time.

Playing and Roleplaying a female character shouldn't matter. It isn't your business, it isn't your problem, and if it affects you, that is pathetic. If you are anti-gay, if you have "pride" and feel it is wrong to use a female avatar, fine, be that way. But again, "It isn't your business, it isn't your problem, and if it affects you, that is pathetic."

 

If you hate someone for playing a female avatar, you should re-evaluate your life, because the track it is going is not going to progress you at all in the future.

I don't speak for everyone who does this, but I'm transgender. I'm currently unable to be who I want to be, so being able to play as my true gender in games helps me get through the days. I find it interesting that the only options for that label me as a "weirdo with a mental problem" or "just a little feminine". Awesome =\

There are many people out there that are transgendered, or who use female persona's to live the life they'd wish they could live. They aren't freaks or ripe with mental issues. Others play as a female character because games with female protagonists are rare. Others actually do prefer to look at "a female characters ass instead of a guy's". And there are people who use female characters to get free stuff. There are also writers who use these female character's to get ideas for their characters if need be. There are sooooo many options because everyone's unique. Problem is that you're asking a question about a specific demographic by combing everyone over on the same side ...

I'd seriously question the mental stability of anyone who tries to pick up women in a Grand Theft Auto game - "Defenseless Teenager" or otherwise.
