so many guys these days love roleplaying as women in games. its happening a lot in GTA:O. I always chalk it up to some unresolved sex issues and/or sexual neuroses. when guys do this I believe they are trying to create a female alter ego for themselves. maybe the guys who do this are just trying get free items from the white knights online, who knows? but I don't buy into that whole 'i'd rather look at a female characters ass for hours rather than a guy'. I think thats bullsh*t. I think somewhere deep inside these guys wanna get in touch with their feminine side or something

They way i see it is why does it matter, its a game it doesn't make you weird atall, It doesn't make any difference to anyone and certainly doesn't mean anything about you in real life.

 

For instance on a game like skyrim, does choosing to be a khajit or argonian make you a wiredo because you didn't choose to be human?

i tend to make female characters in most games. i think it's because...well...i like women. i also enjoy the fact that alot of gamers get slightly MORE angry when they are killed by a female character.

 

down side: my girl, who LIKES video games but is bad at them (lol), is always trying to make me go shopping for new clothes for her. Stop trying to make me spend hours looking at virtual shoes, woman. i gotz noobs to murder. #$^#$!

I don't speak for everyone who does this, but I'm transgender. I'm currently unable to be who I want to be, so being able to play as my true gender in games helps me get through the days. I find it interesting that the only options for that label me as a "weirdo with a mental problem" or "just a little feminine". Awesome =\

Sure it's a little emasculating having to catch a getaway on the back of a motorcycle being driven by a "female" while your friends follow and mock you but hey, that's life.

Whats wrong with a little imagination and fantasy while playing a game to have fun? Who gives a crap if ppl want to play as girls or guys. They paid their $$ to play, let them play and STFU / PTFO. Let them be who or what they want to be in their imaginary universe within GTAO. I played with several "girl" gamers, nice bunch, they work nicely in a group and help during missions. I've adopted a "don't ask don't tell policy" in pub matches and games.
