the Sandking is great but i often find that my akuma out preforms it and the other trucks easily. mostly because the motorcycles have weirdly strong grip that remind me of the horses in Skyrim...

For some reason the Elegy RH8 is very good at climbing vertical surfaces too. Since they're free, I use them to blast around the mountains all the time. Great fun.

For me it is a toss up between the Merryweather Mesa and the Sandking XL

 

The Mesa was better to start with but with both fully upgraded the Sandking XL seems to be far superior.

They drive around... if you want a merryweather one though you either needs mercs called on you or someone near you or to steal it from a merryweather mission

Yeah, BF Injection is the best for racing. I can play Grass Route all day and win full games 9/10 times with the Injection.

 

With the way the wheels and suspension are, you can go basically anywhere too. Getting past low barricades is pretty easy.

I have a fully modded Sandking XL and Merryweather Mesa but neither of them come close to my Sultan for offroading. They are both just not nearly fast enough to compete with the sultan. I wanted GTA V offroading to be realistic but it's really not. A supercar can get up a muddy hill better than a vehicle made for offroad and that's a shame.

this post tells me you know nothing about offroading, because the sandking is 2wd and probably one of the worst trucks/suvs in the game.

that is called the dubsta and it isnt the best one, the best one is the baller though like you said but its a range rover sport clone, and the newer version of the two in game is the most powerful suv/offroader in the game by far with 0.27 engine force compared to 0.20 for sandking, bodhi, rebel, sheriff, dubsta, and even less for others

 

i have mine army green black offroad rims and such, just need turbo upgrade now, i literally went straight up the side of chilliad.

 

and the sultan isnt as good either because the grip coefficient for the baller is higher as well as the engine power (0.26 for the sultan) most supercars make it up very well but the baller is the best from hours and hours of testing.
