Oh WHAT THE f*ck, BONEYARD SURVIVAL

My favorite spot on Boneyard is the wrecked car that has the destroyed red van by it. It's over where the blue bin used to be next to the roof that can't be used any more. You can squat behind that wrecked car near the rear axle and nothing gets to you except the choppers. On levels when those are coming I go back just a bit and squeeze between the two cargo bins. It's not quite as good but you can still cover both yards and it's a lot harder for the choppers to hit you in there. Before the really crazy levels near the end I toss out a few C4's just in case things get hairy.

 

They just made the maps a bit more challenging. All of them are still possible to get to level 10 on. It just isn't a cake walk like it used to be. Personally I think it's more fun this way.

(Yes, that is a passive/aggressive shot at the rest of you for whining that BY is ruined because you can't solo it anymore)

 

(And, yes, I know it can still be done solo).

 

While I'm preaching, I understand that R* blocked the roof because of the clipping glitch - people were able to camp inside the roof and the NPC's couldn't get at them. Anyone remember the Villa glitch from RDR? Like that. It was an exploit, and R* were right to change it.

Its funny how R* has said in the past that GTAO could evolve & change according to player feedback, yet they "fix" something like this instead. Morons.

Ugh R* screwed up something that didn't need fixing in the first place. Instead of nerfing survival mode they should focus on adding more content.

Yeah this has totally ruined survival for me. It was my favourite map and game mode but now it's sort of annoying.

 

One weird thing to mention though- when I played this survival last night in solo session with only me playing, the side room and dumpsters weren't patched and I could still use them. I didn't try the roof though..

Again. I blame cash cards. They want to make it nearly impossible for us to make money. These spots weren't even a sure fire way to win. I've still yet to survive wave four by myself. What's next, we can't do missions or races with crew members? God f*cking forbid rockstar spend time fixing the actual problems with online...

 

Everyone needs to stop blaming the cashcards.. It was the worst spot in Boneyard I can think of, so they only helped the noobs. Ok it's a fun spot to stay some rounds, but it is in no way the most effective one. I played a couple of survivals today and people were all picking pro spots now and were actually.. surviving. I reallt don't get why they deleted it, I heard about some glitch there, but they certainly didnt delete it cause it's some kind of magic superspot.

 

Actually, you're wrong. So wrong it's almost funny! The roof is not a "magic" superspot - there ARE no "magic" superspots, which is part of the reason why all this nerfing that's been going on is complete bollocks - but it was the spot with the best fields of fire. With a two man fire-team, you can cover most approaches on the map with little risk of getting flanked, including at least two major spawn points. The cover is low, but given the angles your enemies are shooting at, it's pretty solid defensively. You'll take a lot of fire, especially in later rounds, and it's very exposed to helicopter fire, but that just adds to the fun. And that's what it's all about, cowboy. Fun.

 

And I hate to break it to ya, but GotDjent is totally right about the cashcards. I love how it's always the total noobs who jump to the defense of cashcards (LEAVE CASHCARDS ALONE, THEY'RE A HUMAN BEING waa waa waa, that's what you sound like)

Lol I must have triggered something right? I usually don't resort to this kind of stuff but you sound like you're about 14 years old. Not only are you making ridiculous personal attacks, you're logic is also completely flawed. You're actually arguing against yourself,lol..

 

For 1, the "magic" superspot was obviously an exageration, cause a lot of people are prentending like it is. I see all these people whining and asking themselves "how are we gonna be able to complete Boneyard now??". Well guess what, there are a lot of ways to complete it and some are still good fun. And you obviously know nothing cause there defintely are some some magic spots, the garage was one of them.

 

The people up the roof were mostly just noobs.. If they come down in the helicopterrounds its ok and if they take down the helicopters down from there fast, well then theyre real pros, but unfortunatelly the people dying first always are the ones on the roof. And dont give me the "thats cause you didnt help crap" cause even when theres 3 and I'm killing tons of enemies they just die from the helicopter or headshots are whatever. I started to play there for some rounds,just for variation, kills and fun,but if theres a decent amount of enemies you can get hit and very hard. "2man team" theres probably some other guy attracting guys to him and saving yout sorry ass, i cant even count how many times I had to do half rounds on my own..

 

Youre even saying that yourself so wtf are you talking abouy you morron? I said it's a fun spot MYSELF, but it by FAR the worst spot on the map, you barely even have helicoptercover there, and you never fully know which enemies are going to be able to shoot you. Theres a few almost guaranteed victory spots on the map, I can only see people going there now and winning a LOT more, so how the hell is that helping the cashcards? You think R* thinks that by removing a funspot people will stop playing the survival and just by money, cause thats really the only explanation.

 

I dont think I ever saw a more ridiculous reply then yours.. Jeezus. And i'm even the noob for picking out better spots then you? I just love how you just called me a noob without any decent arguement for it. Sorry kid, but I can count the times I died before my teammates on one hand, the times I saved a round definately not. Theres just no way theres anyone better in survival then me.

Once you know about it, all I can say is change tactics. I hide behind the rusted car that's right next to the building with the roof, and pick off anyone that comes into the open. Only downside is not being able to hit vehicle drivers/passengers unless they drive through the gates.

Survival used to be my fave part of the game. Key words used to be. Im glad I got this game for free because if I woulda paid for it at the rate this sh*t is going id be trading it in right about now
