WesternMotorcycleCo.
I play GTA on a 1280x720 32" LCD screen, and it looks good close up, but looking at things in the distance they are unclear and I can see the pixels, especially on the GPS route when it's not a straight line. I only got a HDTV so I'm not sure if it's like this for every game. I use a HDMI with the PS3, and my TV was advertised as 1080p, but when I turn it on it says 1280x720. Is this just the limitations of current hardware or is it because GTA is only 720p or what.
Spuds725
Does it display out of game content (like PS3 homescreen at 1080p)---If not, go into your display settings and try to manually set to 1080p-- I had a bad HDMI one time that would only display at a maximum of 1080i The game is rendered at 720p but I don't recall if the TV displays it at that or it connects to the PS3 at 1080p and renders at 720p-- My game looks great on my 58" plasma TV-- of course my eyesight is getting worse all the time. //edit// TV says 1280x720 when I'm in game. trevdaperv
Yes those are the system limitations, you are playing a game on a 7 years old toaster by now you should be used to it
