Swifty101 Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 You people don't realize that With T-tops, the panels are removable just like a Targa Top on the Corvette. It's just a matter of un hinging the L brackets where the T-top opens up near the center beam and the ones on the end never the door windows. That's all. A Convertable for those cars had a Targa top like the Corvette had during the 1980's rather than a T-top. So it's technically not a convertible. Just one with the roof panels removed. Oh and KITT didn't have solid panels. His were very darkly tinted heavy duty shock glass if you actually watched the show.
