Kifflom Posted October 17, 2013 Share Posted October 17, 2013 It seems like every Parachute Race, your chute has to come open mere moments after exiting the aircraft if you're to have any chance of snagging the first checkpoint. LAME. Are there any races where the checkpoints are set up for freefalling? Preferably a lot? HALO jumping in freemode is a pain in the ass, because it takes so long to get that high in air, and once you jump you get wanted wanted stars, because evidently it's legal to jump out of a plane. But I don't think it's the jumping out of a plane that is illegal, it's the plane crashing and decimating the city, killing citizens in the process that the police frown upon. PS, there is a parachute race which is a freefall with the winner being the first to touch down, turning it into a who-can-open-the-chute-latest competition..... And it's not the plane crashing into anything that's illegal. It's just GTA's bullsh*t wanted level coding, that gives you stars for every little explosion. If I jump out of a stolen plane, and the plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean, miles from anywhere, I get wanted levels. Not only do the cops know, instantly, that the plane has crashed, but they also know that I was the pilot, and they've got cops converging on my exact location before I even hit the ground. And not cops showing up to question me or book me and read me my rights; cops showing up to use lethal force on sight, which isn't realistic at all, even in LA.
