Better bounty's!

I like bounty's one of the best things about freeroam but i would prefer it if the minimum bounty was like 3k and you have to declare you want to kill the bounty then the person who has the bounty on his head receives maybe 1k every person who he successfully kills defending his head if the attacker does not declare they are attacking they do not receive the full bounty amount. Any thoughts on this? (i Just feel who ever receives the bounty on their head may aswell just let someone kill them as they cannot get out winning?)

Unfortunately, it's actually super easy to win - just hide in an apartment or private server.

If they could some how prevent that, then I'd be okay with the current system.

but what do you get for winning nothing really wasted time and saving 2k in hospital bills id rather pay the 2k and play personally i think rockstar need to look over this and reward the defender in some way

you get to keep it, which is probably why most of the bounties usually disappear from a lobby so they can go to a private server and just claim the money once the 24 hrs are up. kind of makes bounties pointless.

Yeah....rather stupid. They should have to pay the bounty before they are allowed to switch sessions. I don't like how a lot of them just go to their apartments either.

ahh I didn't know that yeah it does remove the fun of bounty's it would be easy to constantly lobby skip something needs to be put in place to stop this then surely i can't see away really other than my OP as you can't just stop someone leaving a game it would seem unfair considering they did'nt want the bounty!

I agree I suppose they could just make them pay the bounty back to rockstar I presumme but i can see this being quite unfair in some cases if people want to come of the xbox/ps3 etc

Once you go in, you won't wanna come out as people will be waiting. That's why I use the Adder, it's funny seeing people trying to catch me.

A "declaring" system would just be messy. I think the way they have it set up now is fine, the only thing they need to change is the amounts. I want there to be like 20k or 30k bountys. I guess they don't go so high so as not to be abused but the money is coming out of someone's pocket always.

I think they should make it so that, if you're in an apartment or private server, your bounty timer is paused.

 

You have to be in free mode, outside, and in a public server for it to count down.

I agree OP, whenever I have a bounty on my head I usually find a nice spot to post up and wait for the hunters to come after me Just the other day I killed about 10 people that were coming after a 3000$ bounty.
