I want a option to start over clean...

I absolutely love GTA Online and made most of my money(7.8Million) through missions. However like many of you I was tired of grinding missions so I did the bike glitch for 2.7million to buy more cars. I know this isn't fair as I exploited a unplanned mechanism for 2.7million of my money and tried to start over clean today.

 

I made a new character but soon realized my money was still there. And to my knowledge there is no way of deleting everything and starting over.

Even though I did get my leveling completely legitimate I would be glad to start back at 1 with a new character. Or if Rockstar would give us bike glitchers the option to go back to 0 dollars and delete our garage but keep our level that would be great too. To summarize....

Would you consider it fair if instead of being in the cheat lobby for a month if bike glitchers could simply go to 0 money , 0 cars and no house but keep the level( which the glitch didnt effect)?

If not should we be allowed to just start level 1 characters from scratch and move on? Becuase there is not even a option for that now.

Create a new Xbox/PSN account. Then you wont be able to acces your current character.

What's the big deal? Many people glitched, no one get reset unless they have like 20000 billion
Glitching doesn't increase your rank so really it does nothing. You still can't buy minigun or RPG unless you're already played it too much


OR you can just spend it all (or give it away) and THEN make a new character, like said above

I kept my money but not items , sorry for not being clear.

The problem I considered with this is Bad Sportsmanship carries over multiple characters so if they do punish me for doing the bike glitch it will count on all characters . Therefore worse case scenario i get my new character to say 30 , they then punish my account because I did glitch before.

Bad Sport is only for destroying other people's cars.

 

If they put you into the so-called cheater server, you won't notice any difference anyway.

 

They won't be resetting or taking anything from you.

But yea if I do get put in a cheat server I can not play with my friends because they didn't cheat, just grinded ( the 4 i always play with). And that is the whole reason I just want to start clean and do not care about money or cars. i just want to continue enjoying the game with my buddies and if I go into the cheater pool that will cease.

Its gone bro. All I got from it was a tank and bugatti lol. Both useless because in a tank people run into you to give you bad sport and the bugatti I do not like as much as my legit entitity.

The money is dirty , nothing else . Plus the method you said will likely not work because i would stil have my account sent to the cheater lobby eventually.

Yep. The only way i see starting clean is if Rockstar does a option themselves , we cannot just rig it and hope they will not punish us with the 200million cheaters.

No one is getting banned, Rockstar is a business. They will fix the glitch , drain all the illegitimate money and reset us/ cheater pool possibly.

 

That said if cash cards were out I could have just handed them like 40 bucks and be in the same position. Being a self dependant adult 40 bucks would simply mean not going out to dinner once.

 

Which could be another option , give exploiters the chance to simply pay for the amount they got. Sure the people who took 200 million would deny this but those of us who took less then 3 million might agree thus making rockstar even more money.

 

 

That said you are either a kid or act like one for replying with "blah blah blah haha ". And if you are infact an adult you need to grow up or learn to say " would you like fries with that" the rest of your life.

A option to wipe your account doesn't mean you're scared of a ban.

 

For me, my first character got deleted after a week and now it starts to bug me that my new guy earned about 2 million, but my stats tell me I earned 3,2 million. I'm that OCD about things, I need that stat to be character bound, not overall

If you don,t want the money then keep buying the expensive sports car and replace your old one with the New.Then whe. You have no more replace your sports cars with regular cars.This would work wouldn't it?

Well OP, I am not one to talk sh*t about people that glitched or farm the sh*t out of rooftop, coke, or violent. You can check my stats, I have not glitched or farmed (psn: TAKERoftheSOUL), however you chose to do these things and now you must live with the consequences.

 

I also think R* should implement a "reset" feature for the game, just for the simple fact, some people may get bored or want to start fresh. Just like in COD, once you hit max level you have the chance to get a "fresh Start" a complete stat reset. Do I think this "fresh start" should be available to those that glitched the LSC Bike bug... NO.

 

I also dont think they should be banned/ moved to the "cheater" pool. R* should just give those people the reset of money and cars. The level should stay the same due to that part being a legitimate gain. R* is NOT against farming. This is just my opinion.
