If there was an annoying kid online thats unbearable then why don't you just use the mute feature? It's clearly not just about GTA. Well, what do you want? Ban kids from playing games? slaughterfish34 Posted October 17, 2013 Share Posted October 17, 2013 I really dont understand the "Youff" of today.They want to play a game and finish it in as fast a time as possible.They cry about not being able to use "glitches" and "cheats",when they do,they then moan about getting banned for doing it.They want as much money and cars etc as they can as fast as they can.They complain about getting shot and having their cars stolen when thats what the game is all about.They make posts on forums in some kind of Language that i have never even seen or heard of. i am 53 years old,i have seen the birth of the "Modern Technological Age" and its advancements for good and bad.I honestly dont think the "Youff" of today could even FUNCTION like i had to back in my Youth. When i was a kid,we had NO colour TV,DVD's,CD's,iPads,PC's, or Mobile phones.Indeed not every house had a phone,you used to go next door and use theirs or use a Public Phone.The radio was one that ran using Valves and took about 20 seconds to warm up and come on.TV had 2 Channels and there was NO Daytime TV at all,it went off at midnight.The only games were Board Games(if you could afford them). Kids today dont know they are bloody Born! (Old Phart rant over) Honestly OP i am "technically youff " of today but i hate it, everyone is always on their phones and doing stuff with friends always involves half the time we even do anything or communicate just sit there and mess around with whatever new toy one of us got. Im 18 though so thank christ im not like those kid's online but if i behaved at all like some of these kids or became a swag fag i would of gotten beat 18 as well. Well said man. This is an age where kids play mature games, is not anything new. Or maybe play solo, yea? Should rockstar make you your very own server to play in with unicorns and barbies? I don't have any problems in game, my crew is mostly 30+ in age. Hmm..maybe there's a connection there... I remember when the fun of video games was playing them, and getting the most you could out of them, not beating them. What's fun about beating games anyway? Well, (This is a guess) The Acorn Electron launched in 1983, you were 14 when you got yours so maybe a few years after the launch. So you didnt have any acces to the internet, and you´d have to count on all your books. so worse than most of todays current students. Im studying in a Business college with plenty of options to choose from, so it might also be worse than mine. But again, that was just a guess. Your education could of course even be way better than mine, but I wouldnt know as I have no knowledge of yours. Anyway, i´m not here to have a war between you and me, this is just my opinion. Today to find a person with any sense of honor about them is very rare, for instance how many of the younger generation would have the courage to say what they say online to someone else in person? Would you guys go up to an older man in person who was telling you about his youth and his struggles and tell him haha your old, grandpa! The truth is we have the technology we have today due to someone's hard work, due to many sacrifices, and I am afraid those type of people are dying out. How many of the guys on this forum cut grass to get by as kids? I don't mean to survive but if you wanted something your parents told you "go mow some lawns until you can afford it" I did, and I am a better person for it. I am by no means old 26, but I felt the need to contribute to society and learn about what created the society we have and have had. So I read books, I study history, I talk like a white man, I am involved in politics, I am a mechanic who works with his hands and his mind, I mowed lawns to afford my power ranger and ninja turtle toys as a kid. I served this failing country with 2 tours in Iraq. I don't mean to be a braggart but what I mean to convey is the reason behind our future falling apart. Most people my age and below have no work ethic, no grasp on the realities of life, what it takes to build and maintain a successful economy and home life. In short, we are doomed if we don't either take a long hard look back on our past, or a natural disaster forces upon us a survival of the fittest situation in which the intelligent, honor filled, and laborious men will be all that is left.
