Why are glitchers so scared?

I see many many negative attacks on posters who claim to have "inside info" that glitchers who excessively abused the game to make upwards of 10million are going to have their money, cars, and properties reset.

 

My question is not whether they will or will not reset exploiters/lamers but why are exploiters being so defensive?

 

R* has billed this online mode as a MMO, and they have big plans for it in the future. It only makes sense they would patch the bugs and then bring glitchers back to a more level playing field. For them to do nothing would be for them to endorse glitching in the future, and that will ruin their reputation and playerbase more than resetting exploiters.

 

(keep in mind only about 5% of the toal population are lame enough to go activly seeking and using glitches, out of 20 of my ... you could say laymen friends, zero have glitched or even know what a glitch is)

 

You are effectively not losing anything, as you choose to waste your time glitching instead of legitimately playing the game. You will not be able to claim naivety as anyone who has the knowledge to glitch 10million is smart enough to know exploiting is cause for a ban.

 

This attitude that you have of plausible deniability and the claim of willful ignorance is not going to protect you, and if developers hate anything more than exploiters is those who exploit and attempt to disguise it under the guise of "i didn't know better"

 

So my question, why so defensive exploiters? Because once you are reset you will not only lose your ill-gotten advantage or because you are going to actually be at a disadvantage to those who played legit?

 

 

my advice to you is to start enjoying the game for what is is, and don't cry when you lose everything.

To me there is a separation between people who do something like the LSC Glitch and people who just play the same missions over and over.

 

There are always going to be missions which make more money more quickly than others.

 

If you can spend 10 minutes and come out with 9k...

 

Or spend 4 minutes and come out with 25k...

 

Well are you really going to be doing the 10 minute mission all that often?

 

No, of course not.

 

 

There will always be those few missions that make you a lot in a small amount of time and people will always do those missions as often as possible.

 

 

Edit: Of course fun is a factor most of the time, but if you're just trying to drum up some money....

The real question is: Why are "legit" players so angry about it? It GTA. It's not some serious type of game. Whether you glitch to get millions of GTA$ or you buy cash cards to get millions of GTA$, there's no difference. The only difference is that Rockstar loses out on the money from the glitchers. With that being said, unless you're a Rockstar executive that's profiting from the game...why do you guys care who glitches?

 

Here you are...making yet another thread complaining about glitchers for about the 500th time. It's time for you cry babies to move on and deal with it...or do what you do best and cry in a corner because someone isn't playing GTA fairly.

How would rockstar even decide we're to start. Anyone over 1 million? 2 ? 100? Reset everyone ? After a super Fail launch banning people probably isn't high on the list. Also the only person is worried about how many levels or millions someone else is the voice in your head.

We aren't scared, but people are getting mad for the same reason that non-glitchers get mad when glitchers say they won't get banned because "look at RDR, or its a game about stealing." It's not real proof and it's annoying. Lots of people would love to see an actual announcement from rockstar saying they are going to this or do that, but no one wants to read about some kid going "hurr my imaginary friend that waters the plants outside of the rockstar executive office heard they were gunna ban everyone and have a tidal wave take out half of los santos in the next patch."

I haven't glitched and some of these glitches I never heard of till I visited this site, but Rockstar hasn't got the time and man power to check through every single account to weed out the cheaters. They will probably look at the big players with a good amount of money, so if you glitched to 1-4million you are probably alright, anything more you may be in trouble. Last but not least, I don't care if someone else glitched to get the best car or house, it doesn't personally hurt me, I'm happy with my cheap garage and free car.

I got to a pretty high level legit then lost my character with a nice car and high end apartment. Couldn't be bothered starting again so I glitched. Hundreds of thousands of others probably have the same reason as me.

None of you people are from R*, you don't know what they will do. Hell, I don't even see glitchers making threads defending themselves. What do I see though? I choose to not take part in the LSC glitch ive got buddies roliing around with 60+ mill. I hope they dont get reset. doesnt effect me at all if they have 60 mill it just makes it funner if they can spawn for us expensive toys.

From my knowledge, R* will send cheaters into cheater pool for 1 month, after the 1 month time period cheaters will be put back into normal lobbies with all of their money reset, leaving their current level the same.
