pilot headset?

Oh I never even noticed, it would be cool if you could purchase it though. Must have been a glitch then because this guy wasn't in anything.

i have it glitched on one of my characters pre 1.07

its still there but will be gone if i mess with helmets/masks

I believe you can buy them at any stores that sell hats

My character will be wearing it randomly when I go in or out of my apartment..... No idea how or why

Your character puts it on when you get into any aircraft like stated already. Whenever Im flying a buzzard or jet and leave the game, when I get back online my character always spawns with the headset on. I have to cycle through my hats and then choose no hat to get rid of it.

try not to get melee'd with that elf hat on, it'll fall of and you'll lose it unless you immediately turn of your system

I can still get a pilot headset on in 1.09.

 

Explode in a heli/plane as you fail a mission. This does the trick most times.

 

But it will not save anymore like it did pre 1.07.

I fly buzzards in every session and the times I have crashed and exploded, I've never had the pilot headset glitch and stay on. Maybe you need to be on a mission like someone said above.

 

Anyways, if we find a way to get these consistently glitched, that would be awesome.

 

The only headwear I've been able to glitch is the dunce cap, lol. I was supposed to be in BS for 30 days - but sometime around this week I was back in regular lobbies. I was scratching my head for a couple of days because I noticed the other players in the lobby were unusually nice (i.e. no raging spawn killers), so I suspected I was out of BS. I had to double check my profile and it said "clean player", but my dunce cap was still on. I had to swap it out at a clothing store. I wish the pilot headset glitched as easily.

yeah i lost mine during a mission lol, i got hit by an angry NPC and got stuck in the mission end screen

idk where mine came from but i logged on one day in november and had a headset on and hes never taken it off since lol

Yeah both my chars randomly decide to start wearing the headset sometimes. I like it though. Sometimes it'll disappear for some reason, buy every now and again it comes back.

Easiest was to get one is be a passenger in a Heli/Aircraft and quickjob a job/race. Complete it and back out, and your character will be wearing the headset.
