Understood. I mean in the game, North Yankton is a different part of the map right? You can't get there outside of the mission. Ignore the ten years. That part of the map, North Yankton might have different rules/features/attributes that the rest of the map..... Any phone that you have in North Yankton is automatically the old version. And this old version does not exist in V. I don't know what to make of this guys pictures, I don't know why he would make it up. I am saying that what I stated above is not unthinkable, and it is probably how it would have had to have worked for him to take a selfie after respawning. Sweettooth187 Posted October 17, 2013 Share Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) So is the point you're trying to make that since you died and went to some medical center, maybe this glitch foreshadows that the North Yankton map may in some way come into play later, such as DLC? Also possible is that R* had originally set out to stretch out the beginning a little bit, thus creating a working respawn point, but then realized that we would want to stall progression and goof off between missions, thus demanding the North Yankton map be just as expansive and detailed per what we'd normally expect, and what with having the actual GTA5 map on their plate, that'd be too much of an undertaking, and trashed the additional missions.
