I just found one last night. After upgrades we ran it head on into a train 3 times and after several 4 star chases this Sultan was still kickin. Sorta.

 

I think it'll make a nice heist vehicle.

 

if you want a heist vehicle, look no further than michaels main car, the audi.

I can't say, but I owned both for a bit and got the impression the Exemplar was faster on road. If you're only looking for a fast, 4 door car then you won't be at a disadvantage sticking with the Exemplar.

I think it sucks in 5, I doubt it'd have been as popular if it was introduced in this one though. All we had in 4 was a Comet, Infernus, Sultan, Bullet and Super GT.

My love of the Sultan comes from IV. It was (is) a versatile and agile car with more than decent top speed.

In terms of Top speed according the the wiki, though the Wiki is wrong as **** the Felon would be the fastest 4 door. Though to be honest you should do with any:

 

Sultan

Exemplar

Oracle 2

Felon

According the wiki, I'd say the Exemplar is better. The Exemplar has better speed, braking, and handling and they are tied on acceleration. The only advantage for the Sultan is AWD if you want to go offroad. Based on the wiki stats, I'd say the Exemplar is the best all around 4 door vehicle on stats alone. That is if you believe the stats on the wiki.

Finally found one and I must say it is MUCH better than the exemplar. Now I see what all the fuss is about. I have both maxed out with mods, but I have to say the Sultan is faster. It handles a million times better, and offroading as you said is an easy win for the Sultan.

 

I recommend you guys find one. My new favorite all around car..

I love the look and feel of it. Driving it off-road it really feels like a rally car.

Fast, agile 4-doors are not that common. Sultan fits the bill for the clean 4-man getaway - but if you're expecting a lot of contact with cop cars, the Buffalo won't get belted all over the road the way the lighter Sultan will. I keep one of each.

I would guess the elegy and tailgaters (R35 and a4 or a6) are awd

I think I'm gonna go with the Buffalo for my 4 door getaway car personally, but I also have a maxed out Mesa (Merryweather version). Also lowered the suspension as much as I could to make it a little harder to tip over when you make tight turns.
