Since we cant have businesses per say in Gta online Ive decided to launch my own. I will offer charters in helicopters and planes for a small fee. Need a flight across the map or parachute drop from Max height $500

Want to rob liquor stores without worrying about cops $2500(up to 5stores)

Want to avoid a bounty while seeing San Andres from the safety of the cloulds

Need a fighter jet? We can drop you above the base and to paracute in we will pick you up in the swamp if you fail and allow you to retry or return to los santos

Blackstar will also offer its pilots to people who need good pilots during missions. Worried you might not be able to get the titan safely go sandy shores blackstar can handle that for you. No fee as this mission payout will cover the costs of a pilot

If your hired blackstar we would be waiting at your respawned point to pick you up and let you try again.Or you could just take the few seconds it takes to respawn at your apartment or join a new session (which does the same thing) not to mention he said that he had his own air vehicle (and even then it's not hard to get one to be honest). I dunno I get that you're trying to capitalize on a convenience service for people, just don't think that having a pilot service is really worth it. I mean half the fun is doing stuff yourself not to mention it's not a straight up pickup service in missions like you could get by paying Lester or merryweather. That "black star" pilot still takes up a slot in the mission

 

TLDR I can't personally find a use for this service that you or one of your mission mates couldn't do yourselves.

 

As for the base/fort, flying isn't the only way in and it isn't even the truly best way. There's a discussion going on about Fort Zancudo around here somewhere. There's mention of ramps and canals and remaining undetected for a little bit inside

Here's the thing people pay 8 bucks for a cup of coffie or a few bucks for a bottle of water somthing they could get for next tonothing if they did it themselves conveince is everything. Will everyone use this service? No but some will I remember posts about having a driver for expensive cars this is kinda along the same lines.

To each their own I guess. But I was arguing convenience on some points. Like when you mentioned the long drive back to LS I brought up it only takes a few seconds to respawn at your apartment in LS. Or using your service vs getting your own chopper/plane delivered or calling the npc.

Oh not to mention someone just posted that floating in an NPC helicopter over the base doesn't get you wanted and you could apparently direct the pilot right over the jet you want and have a bit of time to get out of there with it so another point there

What if someone gets a pilot who is a dick or doesn't know what they are doing and have just payed for someone doing a half assed job or maybe just killed them after taking the money instead of doing it themselves. I don't trust many players and I don't think many people will trust you. Btw someone could just ask for a pickup then kill you and take the heli/plane. Lots of flaws here tbh.

You could always call a mechanic for your car to launch into the base, or a taxi, or even a merry weather pickup and then kill the helicopter pilot and use it

Thats why our pilots will have to pass a checkride flight IE short field take off and landings landing on roads ect. I'm a commerical pilot in real life so I know how to give checkrides as I've been through many myself. I don't know that people won't try to kill the pilots but It comes down to honesty.The people I have at my VA will be upstanding players not scum bags. Maybe requiring pilots to be in passive mode to pick up a charter would work keeps everyone safe he can't shoot and can't be shot.

You could but not every player has access to that. The only thing I get from merry weather is ammo drops

I like this idea a lot ... +1. I'd definitely pay to have a real player ferry me around in a helicopter you guys are missing a point, if you parachute in you don't have a friend around to pick you back up so this is pretty important.. You could drop into the military base , do what you need to do, and then get an emergency extraction so I think this is a great idea. I bet this guy is really good too he could probably airlift you out in a military jeep with a cargo bob
