What's your success rate with Merryweather?

Helicopter pickups usually work for me, thought I've a had a few where the helicopter just hovers way up in the air and never lands.

 

I called for a backup chopper once, and it just hovered near the enemies for a minute and flew away without doing anything.

 

I called mercenaries on a player for $7500 and as far as I know nothing ever happened.

 

They shouldn't be paid unless they do their job.

had a chopper pick up hover just above the ground, think it was because it was at an angle

the mercs seem to work for me most of the time

sometimes they can't reach a player so I get a refund, and once the target escaped and I didn't get a refund.

haven't really tried the backup chopper since the one time I did it didn't really do much

Every time Merryweather fail they ring, apologize, then give me my money back. They fail quite alot.

I called them in once. they crashed the helicopter and blew up as soon as the appeared.

I find calling for mercs usually works but the back up helicopter doesn't usually..the pick up though has worked 9/10 times for me. It helps to be in an open area, tall buildings interfere.

Mercs worked for me. When they failed, I got my money back. Was really awesome.

2 heli back ups and 1 pickup all worked fine. Wouldve been nice if the chopper back up killed some guys but they did show up and fight.

Calling for a chopper usually works, sometimes they don't land... Mercenaries give you a refund which is nice, but so far they've only done the job 1 out of 5 tries. Never called for chopper backup. Airstrike is f*cking useless.

Only ever called them for mercs, and that was once.

The guy hid on a skyscraper from them, I sniped him from the adjoining one, and Merryweather took credit for it.

Mercs worked a few times. If person is in a fast car forget it. Helicopter pickup always works for me. All escorts suck and the airstrike is dumb unless the person sits still

I'd say my mercs have a 70% success rate.

I have had no problems with them. I get a chopper to drop me at the Lazers or tanks,

 

I call the mercs in to kill an annoying player or an ammo drop, all with success.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've had good success with the backup heli. When griefers chase me I'll just go fast enough to avoid getting shot but call in backup and lead the griefers into some open area, works almost every time. It's especially fun if they come in from an angle where the chopper is obscured by a building, so you can whip around a corner with some griefer thinking they're about to get you and suddenly they're getting shot in the face with carbine rifles out the side of a low hovering buzzard.

For pickups - 100% success, I use them a ton on missions.

For backup and such? Not so much, but they refund the money if they don't kill the target.

Probably a 5 kill 2 fail ratio is what I get mostly, but I only get them for lowly [email protected] who grief me.

9/10 the mercenaries kill my target >=D I usually sit in my house and watch the tv cam when they are unaware and I randomly watch them get executed while I sit on my couch and watch muhahaha

I've been using the call mer more lately to kill griefers and I would say they're good and they work but the refund needs to be worked on. Twice in a row I had a player leave the session, followed by his character running off but no longer being him. Mercs show up and kill that dude and count it as a win. Not really what I wanted.

Airstrike is f*cking useless.

Most of the time I would agree with you, but they are particularly useful for killing the guy sniping on the roof above you. I use it all the time when people land their helo on a roof to snipe people down below.

 

Their screams and cries over audio is worth every bit of the money I spent.

I had a message earlier telling me someone had sent mercenaries after me. Both me and the person who sent them were in that session for quite a while afterwards and I never got attacked once. I was looking out for them, too. I even waited around for a while as soon as I got the message.

The pickup is great, but the support things are worthless...

 

I tried to call some Mercs on a AFK guy to get that jeep and they called me that the target 'got away'... I was standing right next to him waiting..

Yesterday I called them up to take care of some douchebag who was harrasing me.. I waited and they never showed up, so I took matters into my own hands and killed him myself. Next I got a call from Merryweather and she tells me that they did the job in neutralising the enemy.

On another occasion, I called them up to take care of some two guys firing at me, they came and neutralised them, I neutralised Merryweather and took their Mesa.

Mercs aren't very efficient, three well placed C4 or RPG take out the mercs with little to no effort.

Heilo usually does it's job.

Haven't used the overwatch enough yet.

Same here. I love spectating them getting away after a big bounty is placed on them and I send mercs after them.

 

I often do this to campers who try to kill me.
