Reset an patch then people will find new stuff to glitch

Some people glitched, so what? The world would be a happier place if people didn't get upset about other people having things they don't have as often--in real life and in video games, but especially in video games.

Reset my money from glitching and take my stuff away? Yea that's fair, the game wouldn't be as fun because most of my time is spent driving off the tops of mountains and other dumb sh*t with the super cars I bought, but I didn't get them fairly so its fair that they get taken away. If my character level which I've earned completely legit got reset I would stop playing.

I'm for a reset of every single races best times/lap times, because they are stupid, when catch up lap times of 15 seconds on a track that is at best done in 50 seconds are recorded first place, you know something is wrong. I'm also for a complete separation of class for each record, motorbikes should compete with motorbikes times, and superscars with supercars times, SUV with SUV times etc...

Players who glitched, cheated or boosted their way into millions basically screwed themselves over in long term purpose for playing.

 

They got everything in days.. And will be bored in days.. And then leave the game. Which is basically a win for all legit players who actually enjoy playing the game.

i´ve glitched, yet im not planning on leaving within a few days. Money is not everything. I can spend hours with my friends and f*cking stuff up. Which I think is the primary point of GTA:O. Having a good time with friends.

Resetting would only hurt honest hard working players. As a cheater I can't really be stopped. I can always just real time edit my money and level in less than 5 minutes.

I wouldn't minde if they reset all money/cars/house's.

id be abit pee'd if they reset my level tho, got to level 48 without criminal records.

tho since then I have done about 7levels purely on that.

Why punish those who have been playing legitimately? Just reset those who have glitched massive amounts. Personally I have nothing against those who glitched to regain lost progress from deleted characters or cars/apartments disappearing, since Rockstar isn't going to restore that for them. But those who have been glitching just to do it and get millions, yea reset them.

And thats why i think rockstar will not reset anybody. Well at least the lvls <150. They f*cked up twice why would they punish us?

Personally I never glitched, but farmed about 15mill the first 2 weeks, also reached 150.

 

To me atleast it had a negative impact on my enjoyment, so I deleted the chars and the money.

 

 

And while I doubt a full reset would be a good option, I do think a partial reset is quickly becoming a necessity. (Wipe money and all non-garage vehicles)

 

Due to the rampant amount of glitching, farming and supposedly even hackers giving away millions, the game economy is crashing hard, and this will only be more noticeable if they ever open the stock market.

 

At the current rate selling $ won't be a option for R*, and while some of the short-sighted people in here may think thats good, it most definatly is not, because it forces R* to focus on a diffrent way of making money which is premium content, effectivly barring players from fully exploring the game unless they pay.

 

 

 

 

Also, for those saying stuff like "why would they punish us", It wouldn't be about punishing anyone, and as long as the reset hits EVERYONE you really cannot even consider it a punishment.

 

The option is between getting resetted and having a economy as meaningless as the $'s in gta IV.

How about number 5, ive glitched for money and still have put just as much effort in leveling up as everyone else. I dont want a reset just for the fact ive already climbed the xp ladder 3 different times. Id rather lose my money than have to start at level 1 again.

I agree, all the rich people will surely get bored of killing everyone, and anyone, things cost money, they cant get money without exploits and soon they will waste all their money on tanks and cars and ammo, and then they will realise they cant pay for the mechanic, and cant pay for their house to run appliances, and then they will be in the dirt....

The RP boosts of racing with certain settings apply to *all* races, and not just Criminal Records. It's just that CR is such a simple race that people use that to level up with. Try it and see. I for one have noticed that the bicycle race at the airport 'Wingin It' behaves in much the same way, and it pays out more to the winner - $5680, for just a 60 second lap!

 

I can understand people being mad about the LSC exploit, and quite rightly, but races appear to be working fine. At this rate however, all this butthurt whingeing and bitching about 'farming' will leave everyone with no way to make money. and more importantly. no way to level up.
