Ok,I understand.So,as I see your progress,you're gonna make the Ghost City fully solid(keeping the original buildings,and adding new buildings and roads),right? If you want(or if you can),you can also add a harbor near the Ghost City(something like Portland harbor).But it's just an idea.

I'dont think so. Landscape can't allow to build harbour. Ghost city has new buildings even old cutscene decorations are remade. Little harbour is added near prison. Sorry for my grammar)))) I've lost my knowledge by learning in technical university :facedesk:

Yeah, roads in countryside are useful for offroad and sportcars. Offroad challanges are available in harwood park, under the bridge to prison. I've just thought about race between Miguel and Claude))) Love story eapeats :miranda: faster harder deeper

That was very pleasurable for me to drive in the foggy forest listening to the deep underground house....Mr. Fingers - Can You Feel It so magic....

I'm planning to mix hits of house music from 90s also for Upstate to make the atmosphere. Claude should like oldscool- his pager shows that)))

first of all you'll need to cross through the city to drive into the east to small villages (1 or 2 like in SA) Thanx to R* they reserved alot of place)))

when i'm driving west completed area it's looks huge.There triple larger area for countryside in the east ) I think I can create all of I want.Little roads from villages unite them in the web of forest tracks leading player to the observatory and OutState(new termin*)

So, the east side of Ghost Town,it's gonna be a big forest(with offroad paths),right(or not)? And something about Ghost Town:Will it have it's own park? You can also add(if possible) a football stadium,to give the town a sense of a big town.

Forest will be in countryside. Now i'm modeling park and train station. Screen in the thread(but park is little). I think museum is more significatn than stadium. Museum from beta)

Yeah,I think you're right about the museum,because the people,visiting the museum,will learn the history of the city(in this case,the Ghost Town).But...what are you planning for the east side(east from Ghost Town)?

The countryside,along with the new villages,the forest,the observation post,rails,are still in sketching phase,right? Also,are you planning to make the observatory accesible?

Also Yeap))) accesible, observatory is one of main places in my storyline

I want everyone enjoy that new part of liberty city, and make it carefully. I want to keep original map. I replace only 2 files)))- hill_tunnel1.dff, hill_tunnel2.dff

Both tunnels will be accesible(west tunnel leads to Ghost Town,and east tunnel leads to countryside,with its villages)? I see that you'll keep the original touch in the map,you just added the Upstate,and the Liberty City prison island.Just...one more question about the Ghost City: Will it have an airport,or just the train station that you mentioned(and you sketched it)?

I'm a trainophile so I'm here to help if you need any with the rail yard.

 

Out of wondering, is that locomotive you drew supposed to represent the kind of locomotive you want in the yard, or is it just a generic drawing? That rail signal setup also looks familiar, but I'm not too sure which railroad it came from, though.

ebal ya v rot programmista iz DMA. Proebal 2 dnya k xyam sobatch'im!!!! SUKA.

Experiment falled. I made new route with 4 corners and 4 straight standart generic roads working, New route worked great)))BUT...hurt... I cut route near airport to make working my roads.Bla bla bla LANDSW region started to freeze. So i didnt understood the SYSTEM of delete. When i delete rockstars objects the map parts are starting be transperant.

It's great))) I need photos of USA locomitives from late 90s. Trains will be static((( at end station. Can you send me links to photos? That drawings are just make me work in theme.Locomotive from the sketch is huge and interesting.

Sure, I could send some pictures. This is the kind that looks the closest to the one you drew, and I also tried to find one in the same paintjob like the kind you would find in the northeast in the timeframe GTA 3 was set in.

I'll make it in Rockstar style for ghost city. They can find general details of building and bring them to lowpoly models. I really wonder.

Assuming the ghost city is smaller than Liberty City, I don't think it would need that big of a station. If anything, Liberty would have a bigger station and the ghost town's station would be about the size of BWI Rail Station.

In my project "Ghost town" is mainland part of LC. Big train station on portland/stanton looks not reallistic cause of water grenzen

I will make that way through forest on 2nd pic))))I like things like that

I know there's a train yard in Harwood, Portland, so that could probably be converted into an end-of-the-line station. Or maybe that construction site in Staunton Island can be completed, along with a train station built onto it?

I think that yard is connected with docks. And there are alot of problems to connect them
