Is San Andreas still 3 cities or now just one?

  1. 1. Do You Accept The State San Andreas Being ONLY One City Now Or Do Yo Think There Is More To Come?

    • YES, it makes sense that San Andreas is a state that only has once city.
    • NO, I believe that this version of San Andreas is just the start.

CAUTION: This goes on for a while. For the children that will most likely post there didn't read comments just know that not being diagnosed with down syndrome earlier on, doesn't mean that you don't have it. It's never to late to find out.

For the ones who will make the attempt to post a thoughtful opinion, I appreciate you.

So I can't help but to think on why this is called San Andreas and the state of San Andreas? This is why many of us thought that the other 2 cities were going to be in the game. Its being called San Andreas on the radio, story and online dialog, licence plates you name it, but all I see is Los Santos and Blane County.

Am I missing something here?? Are we to believe that the created universe of San Andreas is actually this or is it the start? If this is it and nothing else is to be added (SF and LV) then you're telling me that R* just recreated and downsized a whole state that only consist of one city and towns...but yet its still being called a state? This is all on newer consoles then the ones San Andreas played on keep in mind.

I just can't understand how in a updated gaming engine than 2004 SA do you go BACKWARDS in creating the land mass and SUBTRACT cities to add a indepth LOOKING environment (not actual engaging environments) and a VAST underwater world (which I haven't heard anyone give raving reviews on like its on the best features in the game and we all care about whats underwater) and then just call it the State of San Andreas.

At least with Liberty City (in all universes) you had 3 islands (in IV you had Bohan but conventional thinking still lead you to believe it was part of the first island since you could access it first) and they stuck with that format because its already created for the user that Liberty City was one city that consisted of boroughs and the city. But the framework was still there just expanded.

They may very well make VI in Vice City (which they should) and they can even make that a little differentt geography wise and it will still make sense. What I can't understand is how the hell did we go from a created state that had Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Ventures...to having only Los Santos....and its STILL THE STATE OF SAN ANDREAS???

That's why I'm convince that there is more to this game and its not just DLC or online either. I think this game is going to be stretched out for many years because I can't wrap my head around how San Andreas was a state with 3 cities and now only have one, and its suppose to be re-created as such. In fact I don't know any states that have only one city in it, and its still called a state.

What's your thought? Can you buy the fact that this San Andreas that only has one city, can still be the STATE of San Andreas or do you think that there is more to this and R* knows what they got up their sleeve.

I think GTA V is set in Southern SA......LV and SF probably exist, but we just don't see them because R* mainly wanted to capture LA and the surrounding countryside....?

As far as I remember, LV and SF are referenced several times in GTA IV. I don't think the map in GTA V was ever implied to be all of San Andreas. This is only a small part of it.

And while I would like them to add more cities for DLC/online and enlarge the map, I don't think it's going to happen because Rockstar themselves said they wouldn't. I'm happy with the map and haven't really felt a nagging desire to have access to the other cities so far as I've played the game. But if they wanted to make the map even bigger in the future, it would only make the game better.

I see that and understand that but to me, we are only focusing on LS and Blane county and YET its still being called a STATE!

Soooo....we payed $60 for the DLC? Thats what I'm thinking.

Sa Andreas was originally just one city in GTA 1. So really GTA SA is the odd one out in making it three cities.

Was it??? When I played it I didn't own it so I played that one arcade style. Never knew SA was in the

1st one. But my point is really towards the 3D era. It just feels like this was downsized if this all we get.

If not then it would make more sense to me.

Ok, here's where you're missing something OP, in GTAV, this is SOUTH San Andreas. There's a NORTH San Andreas where San Fiero resides, but obviously it's not in the game. The actual entire state of San Andreas is LARGER than what we have in the game.

San Andreas is based on California and Nevada. They are located on the San Andreas Fault, hence the name R* used. GTA V is based on Southern San Andreas(Southern California), as others have said.

Las Venturas would technically be East San Andreas and San Fierro would be Northern San Andreas, if I'm not mistaken.(Basing that statement off of Los Santos's location.)

They said they want to keep adding other locations to GTA Online, so I imagine there will be SF and LV and some point. Maybe they add it in to next gen... Who knows.... But I think they'll be expanding the world based in what they said about adding locations to GTA Online

Los Santos and Blaine County are located in San Andreas, but it's not the full state of course, so why shouldn't the say SA? I can't remember R* saying that the V map is the entire state. It's a part of it, it's Southern San Andreas. So I don't understand your problem to be honest. You must had feel the same with Liberty City State? Maybe the next GTA game will feature the Northern part of SA, and GTA Online will feature both together - that would be great.

San Andreas is much bigger in the new universe, Los Santons and Blaine County are just part of the state.

So I'm sure the next games Will Recreate Las Venturas, San Fierro or Vice city

I think it clearly states that GTA V takes place in "southern San Andreas" just like how real life LA is in Southern California. So we are only seeing the southern portion of the state

I think we either get LV and SF in online through DLC's or on next gen if they decide to take it there. Honestly that would hype me up more considering ps4 has nice specs for a console of course.

Las Venturas is mentioned by the guys that stole some of the diamionds in number 4, so yes they extist.

I'm not questioning if it exist. Of course they exist what my point was about if they just stop at this.

If GTA V is just this game and we don't get any other cities then this....and this is the representation of the

San Andreas.....is it still San Andreas?

Who cares if someone mention it. I'm talking about it being real to play in. Or better yet if Sam, Dan, Leslie

says this is it...no bigger map....only DLC to just this map and no games in the future that will bring back

SF or LV....so the next GTA has nothing to do with SA. Is this STILL only SA without those other cities?

In that case, NO, this isn't San Andreas, because it's only the south part, hence Southern San Andreas, it is not a representation of the ENTIRE San Andreas as a whole.

So since Ash answered that question it almost impossible for R* to NOT create another game or DLC that would have these cities

included, since its pointless really to have San Andreas but to only do Los Santos and thats it. So without the whole "if R* didn't

confirm it, its not happen" routine, logic would really point to DLC being added land but wouldn't that be to much for the current

systems?

If it happens for the newer systems you have to re-launch GTA V, right? For it to make sense?

What I pointing out is either the DLC is mission based, new protagonist, etc...and...GTA VI is going'

to be San Andreas with the other cities (or just one at a time...just to milk it) on the newer consoles

or GTA V is coming to the newer consoles.
