Gun camo doesn't save between sessions

Hi there, read these forums a lot but have never had any reason to post until now.

I bought the special edition GTA V which entitled me to, among other things, a Pistol and Bulpup Shotgun from the off - both complete with all attachment and camos. I have only started playing GTA Online and soon realised that I can use my bonus weapons from the off here too, complete with all the trimmings.

My issue is - every time I log off and come back the next day to GTA Online, my weapon camo has defaulted back to black. I usually run with a gold, platinum or pink (?!) camo but have to go back to AmmuNation every play session to change my camos again. Is this a common issue? I realise it's hardly game-breaking but it's quite frustrating nonetheless.

I do not have any special camos, however my friend has the Golden Deagle and he has never reported that issue. He has however lost both his assault rifles including mods (Probably 50K each rifle) for no reason.

Thanks mate. I realise it's a minor issue but it's annoying going to and from AN to change it! It's just the shotgun actually, my pistol keeps it's camo. I should note too that my weapons keep their attachments and ammo ok otherwise.

If you die with your weapon out I think you lose it. Maybe this is whats happening?

Maybe but I'm nearly sure I keep my silenced pistol as my whip out weapon - it's happened loads now so I'm pretty sure it defaults only the shotgun for no apparent reason :-/

Op, when you finish your sessions, do you immediately turn off system?

 

Rockstar recommends quitting to sp mode first to allow the cloud servers to save your progress.

 

Try this method see if it helps if you are not already practicing this. I have been playing since day 2 and have not lost anything(as of yet).

Yes mate I quit online back to GTA V then turn off my console from there, always.
