Do you really need to use the bank?

So far im level 10 but I don't see the need to bank anything. I know you can lose money from being killed by players, but doesn't the game bill you're bank if you get sent to the hospital anyway? What are the pros of banking?

Well you can only buy cars and properties from your bank account, not cash

I have noticed if you hold cash, the amount you drop from dying is more. So probably better to put it in the bank

Likewise. A friend killed me and i got my revenge to have him drop 420 versus the usual 100.

but is it logical to walk around with buku money in your pocket when you could put it aomewhere safe ? At level 10 it may not matter much, but when you start making real money its advised to keep close tabs on your money.

I think you only drop $100 when someone kills you. The money you are carrying can be taken from you by a mugger. At some rank you unlock the mugger option from Lamar I think so if someone knows you carry your money around they can have a mugger come get it.

The mugger is awful and doesnt really work. There is no reason to bank money. Whatever was intended is either broken or not implemented. You will always drop $100.

I tested it with my friend. I carried cash on me and lost about $300. That's the amount my friend picked up off of me.

But when you have it in the bank and you die, someone picks $100 off you.

Perhaps the amount of money you have on you will have a bigger effect when heists drop? I say because this is basically the baby version of GTAO so I'm thinking everything is subject to change. That and the fact that you can only buy cars with your bank account justifies its reason.
