If I get put in a cheater's pool I'm done playing

With Xbox1 coming out on Nov 22nd, if I get placed in some kind of pool with only a few players in each game, I'm definitely going to quit playing this game. I will play it until Xbox 1 comes out.

 

I really think it's pathetic how greedy rockstar is being about their money cards and micro transactions. All this is about is money for their shareholders.

 

I will definitely not be playing in the future if this is how they treat paying customers for using an exploit that they left in the game because they were too inept to beta-test this thing.

I'm with you. If I'm not allowed to play with my friends or crew I'm done. They take away atleast 50% of the online aspect with the cheaters pool. I'd rather them just remove ou r glitched money.

Also, with that bike and car selling glitch, don't know how well a beta would've done with something like that. The beta probably had people trying to play the main game, not do some in depth cheat and exploit it.

 

Really hope that guy who makes the videos about each one gets a special punishment.

How are they being greedy? If anything you are being greedy by exploiting. And no it's not Rockstars fault that you exploited, there are exploits in every game and it is 100% impossible to catch them all especially when 15m players play a game. You should have used your best judgements and only glitched a little or not at all.

 

Also R* never confirmed a cheaters pool.

I don't understand why Rockstar is selling cash cards to spend money on their imaginary economy. It would make more sense if cash cards went towards exclusive items, guns, cars, etc. But no, it's all towards their imaginary economy.

 

If I were Rockstar, I wouldn't separate two pools of players in GTAO for several reasons:

 

1.) The pool divide is really big. We're talking hundreds of thousands of people in cheater pool, possibly millions - not good from a business perspective

 

2.) There is no real economy on GTAO. Rockstar isn't stupid and they know this, that being said, no point in breaking up a huge portion of your player base when no real harm has been done to the game (considering there is not economy). The only thing being harmed are non-glitcher's feelings and egos... that's it.

Rockstar said that they MAY put people in the cheater's pool (if they even confirm it) for repeat offenses. So they probably won't put anyone in that has done some of those glitches before they stated that, and will just put people in there who discover exploits in the future and use them and ignore the warnings.

yeah its for little kids to buy stuff

 

its a good idea from a business stand point

Lol I feel bad for the people that will be going to the cheaters pool who think "they won't put us there, there are too many of us". Um wrong. Very wrong. you are in the minority by a long shot. First of all, the percentage of users that go to fan sites and forums at all is slim compared to the number of players that play GTA Online. Take that already small number and reduce it by half or more because even within the players that do visit, not all of them cheat. So if this cheaters pool really does happen. You will be in a Lobby with a small number of people. And if you all quit the game because you think it will teach rock star a lesson about banning cheaters, you are wrong. Going from 7,000,000 online players to 6,800,000 is not a big deal for rockstar in the grand scheme. Especially if it improves the playing experience for the non cheaters.

Not sure how using a model from a previous game, Max Payne 3, implies they are sending cheaters away because of shark cards.... The cheaters pool was around for that game as well, and I don't recall shark cards being featured in that game.

As I stated previous. Your example number 1 is wrong. Thousands, maybe a couple hundred thousand, certainly not millions. The entire online section of arguably he most popular GTAV fan site doesn't even have 1,000,000 click throughs and it counts repeat visits.
