What's your excuse

I have no excuse. I have always been a glitcher/farmer. Glitched in BF3 Ps3 got reseted and that made me QUIT. I will take any punishment R decides. If they do reset then fine that will just make me want to play other games on the PS4 and PC.

so you don't play at all because they don't let you cheat? that's pretty pathetic

You can call it what ever. I bought the game with my money and i play the game how ever i feel like playing it.

Isn't the point of GTA to make money gradually so getting those nicer cars and equipment a feels worthwhile and you accomplished something.

Having consequences when dying makes it that much gratifying when u can save up. As I stated, I'm terrible at games but I play fair. I never encountered players trying to kill me to a point I couldn't just flip on passive mode or run/drive away quickly.

And I have no time to play either. Full time job and a wife. To me, having a Pimped out car / apartment now vs later ( whenever I unlock it legit) does not matter. I'd rather have it extremely difficult to unlock so it gives me a goal to work to, whether I reach it in a few days vs a few months- does not matter as long as it's done legit.

People can make all their excuses to exploit.

In the end, you're just being lazy and needy impatient b!tch

I was farming Mixed up with Coke.

And honestly, I mainly just wanted to get awesome cars and customize them. That's the thing I was most excited about getting into multiplayer,

Also, I couldn't manage to keep saving my money with all the hospital bills that I repeatedly would get from people always trying to kill me.

Hospital bills have certainly tempted me. I am rank 30 and have legitamitally made $500,000 so far. But I've lost about $150,000 on hospital bills/having to put Bounty's in people to get them off of me. I haven't glithed, and now hearing news about the cheaters poolni most likely won't, but if I did, hospital bills are most likely why.

First dont equivalate glitching and farming they are 2 completely different things.

Second people wouldnt have to do either if R* didnt balance their economy in a manner that makes paying for cash cards something a rationale consumer would accept and be willing to do.

Thats the whole point they said the economy would be geared towards the people who would never buy a cash card, but lets call bullsh*t on that one.

No intelligent business model would ever put in an item and value it at the values they do arbitrarily or in a manner that wouldnt cater to the largest consumer pool possible, its just poor business strategy to do so.

Thats why the Cash cards shouldnt have been in the first place. They could have charged for cosmetic items and that would have been a perfectly acceptable model of making added revenue without creating a unintended(read intended) paywall.

Everything from bad sport, to 2k in medical bills, to the higher cost compared to SP and the tweaking of payouts is all geared to combat the fact that if people are going to pay REAL MONEY for FAKE MONEY, Rockstar has a potential clusterf*ck on their hands if they dont somehow protect those peoples purchases.

Thats why bad sports exists because lets be honest how many bad sports are going to buy GTA$ with Real money. Few if any, most are going to be the carebear casual crowd who want their instant gratification, the same ones who dont want to be harrassed during play because they dont want to LOSE MONEY.

If people are losing their sh*t over losing FAKE MONEY imagine how hard they are going to RIOT when the FAKE MONEY was bought with REAL MONEY.

The whole game is f*cked because of these cash cards and it wont get better anytime soon. Also if things didnt cost money like death and cars and other stuff then again there is little incentive to purchase FAKE MONEY with Cash cards. The whole system has to be tweaked and "protected" in a manner that makes a consumer WANT to purchase cash cards without feeling like they are TAKING A RISK.

I do agree for the most part. The only reason I think hospital bills are too high is because even with passive mode on people can still kill you. And when you respawn after being killed, you respawn within a few feet of the guy who killed you so he/she can do it again and again. Playing with people is the joy of online so playing solo isn't an option. So I deal with it, but I do wish the hospital bills were less.

I am soooo f*cking tired of glitching and farming being grouped together like that (glitching/farming), as if they were similar in any way and should be catagorized together. It's simply a childish attempt to convince others of your opinion that farming is a cheat by associating it with glitching, which clearly is cheating.

I really am uninterested in anybody's opinion of whether farming is or isn't cheating. R* says it isn't and that makes it a fact.

I don't and won't, because I seem to be getting money okay. When I lvl up more (I'm 38) it will be easier. I don't bitch if others do it. Who gies a sh*t? Lance Armstrong cheated and he has one ball. Maybe R* should cut off glitchers balls?

I'll expand on my previous post. The money I gained from glitching ($2.5 million) was to go towards hospital bills and ammunition costs in the future. Cars and other items were purchased with money I had received through missions or other modes. Bitch.

Use the environment. If somebody tries to run you over in passive mode, run, jump, climb a wall or fence or something.

I will never understand people who want easy unlocks. If I get all unlocks by first week, I'll never care to play the game. Part of the fun is grinding until you finally get that unlock and you can play with it until the next unlock or goal. Keeps longevity fresh and meaningful

i want to start farming too because of all the reasons listed above. idk if its too late to farm some missions. i never seem to do glitches right though. money is pain to get in this game i only have spent 600k in total and doing some missions has a horrible payout

Only people who consider farming a cheat/exploit are carebears and casuals who feel they should be on equal footing with someone who can dedicates more time into a game.

News flash not every hardcore gamer is a unemployed basement dweller living with mommy and daddy. For many gaming is their PRIMARY Hobby of choice and its reasonable to assume some people are going to dedicate more time to it, just because you cant or wont doesn't mean you are entitled to be on EVEN footing with them, or you can buy your way to even footing.

In theory it might make sense that if you cant dedicate time then you can pay to bypass the time but it doesn't work in actuality because its always skewed in favor of spending money being a more efficient method of acquisition of (levels, items, xp etc) over time spent playing and earning by virtue of PLAYING.

But people who choose to buy money cards because they spend the time that a 'hardcore' gamer chooses to game, they choose to work or socialize or whatever. Do whatever you can and enjoy.

Farming isn't the issue as it's more of a balance problem and rockstar recognizes this.

So to start with, I finished GTA V SP with 100% completion without entering one single cheat code. I don't like to use cheat codes because I feel that interferes with the feeling of the game. I don't go preaching the gospel of it and trying to convert cheaters - I just don't do it.

So first day online I bought 1.125 million dollars since I was waiting for the servers to be up and running. When my character got to rank 5 I bought a nice apartment. I bought some fancy cars, planes, and boats. I got to rank 15 and called it a day. Next day, my car, planes, and boats where gone. My character was level 1 due to server errors. I worked hard to rank the character to 33 and make about 1.8 million dollars from missions, and the next day - characters is completly gone.

I put in two tickets with Rockstar support, also called them. Was told they are working on restoring the characters and lost vehicles. I foolishly believed I would be returned my rank 33 char with the apartment, vehicle, cars, and planes. In the meantime I was working on ranking my second character in hopes that my first would be restored.

So then I got the email that Rockstar was giving everyone 500k....everyone, even if you didn't lose your character. In small tiny paragraph at the bottom of that email was something to the line of, oh and were not restoring chars and property so take the money and be happy. I paid for 1.125 million dollars, I earned close to 2 million dollars....and now all they were going to do was give me 500k for all my loses.

So a crew member of mine told about how he did it, and I figured if Rockstar wasn't going to restore my 1.5 million that still deleted, might as well get it back myself. I also calculated how much it took me to get the 1.8 million per hour and since I had a screenshot of my rank 33 character from the website I know how many hours I spent on him. So I used the method to gain the money back. I now have my apartment back and my cars, planes, and boats.

If Rockstar feels it necessary to ban me, I will take my hard earned money and sue them since I paid for 1.125 million and they think that 500k is ok to give me back. I'm sure many others have paid for GTA$ that was lost and I'd love to see that class-action suit go live. Since Rockstar has made a pretty penny on this game, the lawyers will be lining up to take that case.

I will not be using the system since I have restored what was lost from me. In the future I might buy more GTA$.

I actually like the way money is important in the game. It's what most people wanted and complained about not having in earlier games. That being said, the hospital bills are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. We should be able to buy health insurance, or just pay a $100 co pay.

If it weren't for all of the douchebags who have killed me, I would have had at LEAST another $80 to $90K. I'm afraid to retaliate because I don't want to end up in a Bad Sport predicament. Rockstar really needs to address the hospital bills, OR make the idiots who go around killing people pay the 2K bill.

the people that will never glitch also tell me why?..

Because I play the game as intended. Ive never in my life seen a community or a forum where such a large majority of people look at literal cheating and exploiting as "ok" and just shrug it off. It blows my mind to see so many here.

Because, I knew if I didn't take advantage of it, I would spend months wasting an incredible amount of time just to have nice things that at the end of the day are pointless.

Time is the most valuable thing to me.

What do you call a glitch? LSC or repeating missions?

LSd is a glitch while repeating missions is farming, I grouped them together to just summarize not playing how the game was made to be played.

I was growing bored of going backwards in money. I done it last night for about 45 minutes so I could enjoy the game again instead of waiting around to call Martin and Ron for a chance at the only 2 decent paying missions I had available. Getting missions at lvl 47 that still give 3k is just bad development. The highest paying mission is lvl 27 request, there is something wrong with that.

I figured even if I got banned, I really didn't care,I already had an apartment, I already had my entity, and none of the other stuff was worth buying. Spent a lot of my money on planes and cars just to see what they look like because the devs couldn't even add pics. Was I supposed to spend 3 days money just to see what it looks like?

The Pegasus spawns are also so completely retarded that they aren't even worth calling. I bought a mule because i wasn't real sure what it was. My mechanic can bring me my vehicle and he only makes like 50 bucks per week, why can't you bring me the truck for 1000. Instead it spawns halfway across the city in the police impound...

The dump was fun for an hour, but as with the tank, it is too slow to be much use and cops just suicide into it to blow it up or people can suicide into it to send you to bad sport lobbies. Titan and buzzards spawn at my airports anyways so just bought them to do it.

Tl:dr I was growing bored of nothing valuable left to buy because all the top tier stuff had no special use other than getting people in bad sport lobbies. So I made a bucket list to enjoy what time i had left on this game before I quit and wait for dlc to be released.

Kids these days

You broke their EULA terms of agreement by taking matters into your own hands. Doesn't matter if you think it's justified in your eyes.

Rockstar could claim they had full intent on restoring your stuff and your time table was unreasonable. Case closed, and your stuck with lawyer fees over a video game. Whose the chump?

What was it that made you start glitching/farming?

Glitched bcuz I lost a few of my nice rides. Almost always farm bcuz I always need more money. Not worried too much about RP atm, no real reason to farm it.

So it okay for people to buy cash cards but not to farm for money. Even though they both have the same eventual outcome....oh wait farming wasn't that bad.

Fail logic.
