AlexL Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) I wanted to steal a military jet so I used Franklin's special ability to get inside the base quick and steal it, while I was taking off a tank shot one of my wings and damaged the engine, even with the engine breaking down I managed to escape 5 stars, while I was flying near Michael's house I quickly switched to him in order to repair my jet. I heard a loud boom while I was Michael and then switched to Franklin to see what happen, unfortunately he didn't know how to fly and he crashed my jet, after all that hard work.... The Governor Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 It may have been the jet. You pretty much have to make it out of the cleanly without 1 bullet or else your jet will go down. Many times my jet got shot up and eventually lost engines and crashed. It was only then I parachuted directly into the hanger and flew the jet out of there without 1 bullet hit was I able to fly it around and save it. I was diving under bridges with Trevor and smacked the jet on the ground pretty hard. Didn't snap anything off but I saw a puff of smoke come out of the end. I thought, "No problem, this thing's pretty fast, surely I can make it back to the desert hanger." Halfway there I gassed it and it backfired and the engine went out for a second. By the time I got near the runway it coughed up a couple times, engine died, and you know that classic whining sound in the movies as a plane comes crashing down...yeah that's what it did, minus the classic sound effect. I was once exploring underwater with Michael, switched to Trevor and after like 5 minutes I found Michael driving the submarine in traffic, ofc it stopped when I took control of Michael.
