The Dark Passenger Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) Back when trailer one came out in 2011, it was soon rumoured that the voiceover was being done by an actor called Ned Luke. So, thinking he must be some huge star over in the US (otherwise nobody would have recognised his voice, right?), I looked at his IMDB page. WTF? Guy's a nobody! He's never had anything like a major role! Half the characters he's played didn't even have names! How the hell did anyone get his name or recognise his voice? In relation to Ned, though I had recognized him from a brief, inconsequential role in NYPD Blue, I didn't think much of it. Heck, I didn't even feel that the alpha/beta model of Michael even remotely resembled him, so I brushed off such assumptions. Come to find out, they were spot on. Get over it. but the guy wasn't being disrespectful, he is genuinely intrigued on how people recognized ned as the voice.. and he has good reason for it too, granted he could have picked better words than 'he's a nobody' but the point still stands, ned has only been in a few things during his career and almost all the roles were for 1 minute as a side character, or literally just a uncredited extra, that's not to say ned is a tremendous actor, and his work in gta 5 was phenomenal, i just think he's been unlucky in the business, but i guess his luck is changing now, however despite this, anyone could clearly see op's intentions weren't 'disrespectful', tbh you just seem like a huge fanboy who cant take any type of criticism of the game.
