Acquire Cargobob? Is this even possible?

So i got that lester mission and decided to give it a shot.. checked both the airport and the sandy shores field.

 

didn't even find a single airborne vehicle.... decided to just buy one but they cant be bought?

They spawn at the airport for me. I'm a pretty low level so if you can buy airplanes then they probably spawn there for you too. Don't know why they weren't there when you checked though.

Thats just it.. i see them all the time outside of missions... so for them to be so hard to find during one i am guessing there is a bug....

You need to go into the Army base to get one. I have done this mission more than once. It is possible.

Oh, you meant DURING the mission, duh. Well, yeah, not sure about that, sorry. I was thinking of free roam in general.

I believe in the mission summary Lester tells you to go to the Army base and get the Cargobob.

Spawns on both of trevors airfields.

Together with the Mallard, Frogger, Maverick, Annihilator, Titan and the Buzzard, or even more. At least those are what i have seen when playing with my crew. I dont know if its mission progress or something.

during the Mission you must get it from the Army Base. Only place to get it.
