Out of Court settlement - $21,000 car?

So, apparently the lawyer's car (Lampadati Felon GT) is modified and worth $21,000. My question - how the hell are people selling it? The LSC garages are all closed and you can't enter your garage whilst on the mission. The car just disappears once the mission is complete. Can someone explain this?

I think you can keep it as long as you use it to go back to Madrazo's house and not have your personal vehicle

Doesn't work unfortunately. Oh well, the mission's still worth $9,000.

Somewhat off-topic: Just keep calling him up and replaying it. It might sound "farm-y" but it's one of the better paying jobs at that level. Pretty satisfying to snipe the driver a block away, too.

If it isn't possible... how do people know it's worth $21k?

Probably just bullsh*tters to be honest... but I don't know, maybe there's some glitchy way of getting it.

I saw this somewhere else, and the way the other thread said how to do it. If you run a mission with two (2) players then the player that steals the lawyers car has to be a pretty far distance from the mansion. So, if you kill the lawyer and collect the documents, have your team mate take the car and go south on the map while you run north to complete the mission.

I have not tried this nor am I confirming that this will grant you the car, just simply what I have read in a previous post.

I believe that there is one way to keep the car.

you need to be on the other side of the map and some one else needs to finish the mission.

I can confirm that as of the date of my posting the two player method works. I just waited for a random player to join my game, killed the lawyer, grabbed the car, and booked it down to the farthest south point possible. Luckily for me, the other player returned the briefcase, and after I got out of the mission I was still in the Felon GT! I can also confirm that this Felon GT is by far the most valuable car you can sell to the garages without modifying it yourself.

In addition to using the 2 player method, I also used a stolen car to perform the mission instead of one of my own. I'm not sure if that part is really essential to keeping the Felon GT or not... but that's how I did it.

And I'd like the thank the people who posted in this thread. I just wanted a Felon GT... couldn't find one anywhere else in the game. I didn't know or care that this one was so valuable before I read this thread, but I'm glad I figured out how to get it from here. I've tried to keep it about 5 times with no success, but got it first try after reading this thread. :)

No, just take the car back to your garage before you pick the the evidence. Leave the car in your garage and complete the mission. Once back in free-roam take the car to Los Santo's Customs and sell it for 22k.

You can't do that.

The other above posters are right. 2 player mission. One player takes car and drives far away. Other player returns the case.

@Mbhitman You're wrong bro... just cuz your garage Icon don't show up on the map doesn't mean you can't use your garage. As long as you DO NOT pick up the evidence before you get in the car (i enter from passenger side) you can garage the felon GT and then sell it for 22k after you finish the mission.

You shoot the lawyer, don't pick up the case, drive the car back to your garage, return to case and destroy it. Proceed to free mode and enjoy.

You can put the car in your garage, the key is to do it before picking up the evidence. As soon as you pick up the evidence then you can't enter your garage anymore. So typically I kill the lawyer, ram his car with mine to move it away from the evidence, then hop in his car and store it in my garage. Then I go back, grab the evidence and finish the mission as normal. After the mission is over just go back to your garage and grab the lawyer's vehicle and sell it for $22k.

We have been over this so many times.

I will leave you with some tips and hopefully you can discover how to accomplish your goals.

1. Search button is upper right. Enter. Read. Learn.

2. Garages are not shown as icons on the map, but you can still enter them.

3. You cannot enter your garage with Mission Items.

4. The briefcase is the mission item, the car is not the mission item.

5. There are no death counters for mission failure.

6. The briefcase drops when the lawyer dies.

7. The car may or may not keep rolling after the lawyer dies.

8. You may or may not wish to pick up the mission item right away.

Hope this helps you.

Lel, or just spend a wheezy bit of time finding a sultan...or duping, your choice, my sultan sells for 57 grand, and my fully modded tailgater sells for 73 grand. (Only cars in the game you can sell for more than 50k without glitching I believe)

I do it solo all the time, you don't need two players.

I AM CONFIRMING THIS, I HAVE FOUND THIS WITH A FRIEND.

Now in order for this to work you need two players. REPEAT, two players.

One player who gets the car stays away from madrazo's house, the other who collects the evidence continues to his house.

After the missions the player who has the lawyer's car will still be in the car, go to LSC and get your $22,000 not 21,000.

EDIT, two posts above me is incorrect, I have tried this on multiple occasions and it DOES NOT WORK. My method is how it works.

The one player method does work. As long as you don't pick up the evidence before you get in the car, you can store it in your garage. Once you complete the mission, go back to your garage and take the car to LSC and sell it for the 22k. I have done it this way probably over 20 times

I don't believe you based on the fact that I have tried it this way and it has not worked.. So yeah there we have it we can agree to disagree as long as it works for you thats fine, It hasn't worked for me that way so I don't use it nor do I have any reason to believe that it will work because it hasn't worked.. For me.

It has worked for me and several others based on this thread alone. Just out of curiosity. What part of that method doesn't work for you?

I managed to do it just the other day (after !.04 patch).

Got a random invite on my iFruit for the mission and joined as quick as possible, eager to try this out. I didn't have my personal vehicle out the garage so I ended up riding shotgun with the host. Killed the lawyer and stole the car.

He drove back to Martins house while I just chilled and rolled a blunt waiting for the mission to finish. After the cut scene, I was back in my last location (inside the vehicle).

Drove to LSC and sold that baby for what I think was $21,000+

All in all, 30k from 1 mission that takes around 3mins. Happy days

The part where the car is worth 22,000 on that method is what doesn't work.

I have done it solo just to make sure..

I killed the lawyer, Took the evidence with the car to my garage to make sure I couldn't do it and of course I can't take the car in the garage with mission items. So I did it the other way around. I killed the lawyer took his car placed it in my garage, finished the mission went back to my garage, took the Lampadati Felon GT that was originally the lawyer's car to LSC where it had the selling price of 9,500..

Now I am not sure if this is post 1.04 patch or not but prior to this patch it has not worked for me this way. I will try it once more and give an update to this thread with my findings. No Capture card so only way is word of mouth.

It really is as simple as not picking up the evidence, I dont see how anyone has a problem with it.

All you need to solo it is a garage with an empty space.
