Multiple Leaders?

Me and my friend wanted to make a crew, and we'd both have equal power in it, but I couldn't make him a leader alongside me, so I had to make him a commissioner, but now I won't be able to make anyone else a commissioner, or it'll devalue his position or whatever, which make my crew's hierarchy all f*cked up because that makes commissioner an unobtainable position, just like leader, making Lieutenant the highest achievable rank. So other crew members only have three potential ranks they can get to, rather than four.

Is there anything I'm not seeing as to why having two leaders shouldn't be an option? I know one might start f*cking around and cancelling out everything the other leader does by demoting everyone he promotes, changing the emblem to a dick and balls, etc;, but that would just mean you have to make sure you know and trust the other person before making them a leader, instead of having to have Rockstar hold your hand by not letting them become a leader as well.

Does anyone think having multiple leaders is a terrible idea? if so, why?
