I've only got one right now, but, what happens to your cash when you make another and what happens to it if you delete the character?

I think the bank is shared between the two characters if im not mistaken. So you should be able to delete the first after the tutorial with the second

Yes, the bank is shared. Nothing else though so you'll have to reacquire the rest on the other character.
