free roam murder

What is peoples obsession with murder players in free roam who aren't bothering anyone? I don't f*ck with people at all, yet 95% some comes to kill me I am using the in game internet or I'm looking on the map. Nobody is dumb enough to have large amounts of cash on them so your not gaining anything by doing it. All this does is turn people off to the online experience and waste their money. I have already lost $3,000 because of this and it is very annoying. Go kill people in deathmatchs if that's what you wanna do. Free roam should be about meeting new players and exploring the map, not mindless murder of your fellow players who just wanna check stuff out

Because many people want to feel better about themselves by getting kills, but since they aren't good enough to get them in deathmatches they do it to unsuspecting people in free roam. It's a self worth issue more than anything.

Got to the point where I shoot everyone on sight because everyone done it to me and ive lost so much money over it I am not prepared to take the chance of actually enjoying playing with others.

Most of them don't really bother me, the only ones that really tick me off are the guys that you carry through a mission, just to have them blast you in the head after you get back to free roam. The cash you lose is usually pretty insignificant compared the to cash it costs you for actually dying. 2k each death in free roam starts to add up. One bright point was I got to chase one of them down and as I was killing him a bounty of 7k was placed on his head. That was instant karma, that combined with the look on his face when he thought hiding in the tatoo parlor was somehow going to keep him safe as I gave him a blast from the sawed-off shotgun.

It's because the game is designed to encourage interaction, as player positions are constantly tracked by blips on the map, and the only way to communicate (if you turn off the option to listen to everybody, because they make annoying noise) is to fire your gun.

 

At first you might try to be friendly but the first person that makes you a victim will make you defensive next time.

 

There is nothing in the free-roam modes that encourages anything but shoot everyone that comes near you...sadly.

It might be annoying, but only sore losers get seriously butthurt when someone kills them online, no matter what the circumstance. Just do what I do, and try to avoid other players who you don't know.

when i was talking to old friends who are about 11-12 years old, voices are still high pitched and while we were playing in a server they were trying to get the jet constantly and kept dying and just running around and bashing into peoples cars and such and when i asked them why they were doing it because gta 5 is different then gta 4, their answer was how is it different. well that answers that
