How the hell do you get one? i cant find one anywhere! does anyone know where to find one or even a dinghy for the scuba gear?

There's a dock property you can buy in solo mode(I bought with Michael) that is located west of sandy shores, and the sub spawns there

I went to find it and couldn't. It seems you have to be a high level (perhaps 28) for it to start spawning.

Im Rank 61 and i checked the location they said it spawned and it wasnt there, anyone know the rank needed to have it spawn?

By the way its the ultimate way to escape a bounty as well, pretty much every bounty that has been placed on me I have claimed for my own using the submarine. So satisying taking 9k off some nobend that thought hed get me killed. Lol. Its fool proof and works. Everytime. Only thing thats possible to get you is grenades or sticky bombs, but if you are far enough below the surface it doesnt really matter. Especially if you hide the sub in the aircraft wreckage or in one of the underwater archways.

 

@SoggyLuke - you should definitely have it by now I think I have had access to it since like level 25 or 30

But also the person that set the bounty gets an in-game day of peace from the person they set the bounty on, so it still achieves something for them! I love keeping on the run with a bounty and claiming it for myself too. I'd definitely have a sub-day, if I could find one!

The only one I ever go to and have found is by the single player sonar connections dock south of paleto bay. It is on the opposite side of the dock to where it is in the single player. Hope that helps.

No scuba gear online that I have seen, yet... to my knowledge. You just drown if you get out under the ocean if you're too deep obviously.

Thanks for the replies, ive been going to and from the sonar docks and the docks near the helipad in LS and still had no luck finding one if its 100% working for you guys i will just keep trying haha

Nahhh its much more fun seeing people wondering what the f*ck to do about it as they fly over in helicopters. I do whale jumps out of the surface just to be a right piss taker as well and then descend when too many bullets hit the sub
