Weapon wheel is really upsetting me PS3

Guys once you upgrade to better weapons in a particular class it would be good if you could permanently rid your inventory of the weapon....... There is no reason to use the regular pistol once I get a combat pistol and there is no reason to use a regular smg once I get assault smg (Micro uzi obviously ok)

 

And when I drop these weapons they just come back into my inventory next time I load a session or die and respawn.... This is so stupid and it starts by default on the worst weapon in a particular class so to get to any of these weapons you need to switch over about 5 times to have everything set up or risk dying if you try to do it when you are on a combat mission......

 

 

Facepalm, you'd think this would have been ironed out in beta testing because it is definitely inconvenient.

 

Also I don't want to carry around all of my guns when im walking on the street, just for a mission is better. How about a gun s afe in our apartments so when we log in we pick what we want to take with us or maybe put in a carrying limit or something?

keep getting nailed because it resets my weapon everytime I get out of the car.
