I am sure I am level 112. And have 30 million in cash and 35 million in assets. And I will never get banned reset get a warning or any other bullsh*t. Noob trolls keep praying to the ban fairy.

OP commit suicide for everyone's sake.

I seriously don't mind the exploiters. I find it fun to rape high level dudes like this guy because they have the skill of a rank 10. That's what happens when you do nothing else but glitch and spawn camp cement trucks in MUWM. Edited by Crookid

Im alarmed at some of the comment responses for that page. I have a million in car sales and have only sold one duped Felon GT for 49k, that was just mistakenly gained. I wont get any banning or discipline, because I havent cheated, but I have made 1m in car sales with no exploits.

The reason is I upgraded one type of car from every class to the max, then sold all which was 7 or 8 after I found out they made no improvement to winning races. Combined with the hourly selling street vehicles in 4d 17h playtime. 1d 24 hours is over 200k.

Now I just keep vehicles I like and win races against any cars with the standard available ones.

Antidrip, your 112 and have 30m. Im 58 and have made 2.5m, I suspect youve glitched.

The exploiter's are scared trying to comfort themselves at every moment! They feel guilty for cheating, and now that Rockstar has been starting to talk about this issue they will be getting even more defensive! I think it would be a great idea to put them all together where they can use all thier millions to grief each other into Poverty! Cause we all know they wont do missions for "little payout" they need everything now like a bunch of crackheads!

If you have 50 million sitting in your account and you're at level 500, that might throw up a few red flags. That will likely get you banned. But I can't see them banning someone who has a 2 or 3 million and is at level 50-100.

Also, the way it sounds is they might not even tell you you're in the cheater pool.

If they log someone did the LS exploit repeatedly to get 20m, let's say, they might go into the cheater pool without knowing. Then R* will mass ban that pool.

Most developers will mass ban like that as an intimidation method. It works well.

then name one developer who actually did it? there is NONE

ppl were never banned for glitches. just for modded game data or modded consoles

EOD!

I have actually seen WoW do random mass ban for issues several times. Exploiting glitches and botting mostly. They wait until the problem is really bad than they spend about 2 weeks straight heavily banning offenders. Its usually just temporary though like, if you do this again you may get hit by the next wave of bans.

Believe it or not but real MMORPGs actually care about having at least a decent economy and relatively steady progression and will ban people for doing something to prevent this.

Why do you guys care if people are using the bike method glitch? Whats the point of complaining?

We care cause we're playing the game as it should be, and some people are cheating to get everything! I mean why do you care about what we're complaining about how does it affect you? Also the point of complaining is to have our complaints heard by Rockstar so maybe they can take care of the glitch/glitchers!

I don't feel guilty, I have the best stuff you can buy. I can order as many hit squads on you goody two shoes, from my 400k apartment as I want whilst placing bounties on whoever I want.

I will repeat what I said earlier. I was genuinely going to buy a cash card, but as rockstar are useless and we still don't have them 2 weeks later, my hand has been forced to make my millions elsewhere. It's also my compensation for not being able to play a game which I paid for the first week, 500k isn't good enough.

The separation of exploiters and non-exploiters is a great idea. I don't want to play with people who have cheated to get the best stuff, they can play with each other.

THIS so much. i hope that R* will implement that in 1.05 patch

I'm just tired of the never ending troll threads claiming bans or resets. I wanted an answer from RockStar and surprisingly or one. So can we call this issue resolved and actually talk about the game on these forums? The mods here really need to clean this place up.

Honestly what kind of answer you think they would have gave you? They are not going to tell you "we really can't pinpoint every player that exploits, so you should take advantage of any exploits before we patch them". Seriously you were given a Rolodex response.

Dc universe online. There was a glitch that had to do with money and mail. You could basically duplicate money you put in the mail. Soooo many players were mad about it soe did take action and basically gave the boot to dozens of billionaires.

Difference is DCUO had an actual "user economy" GTA V does not. And many, many people were able to avoid the ban by spreading the money to their alts.

Right, but didn't you notice Rockstar feels like they have an economy as well? Also when they bring out Stock Market for Online wont that be considered economy? Not saying it's anything as massive as WoW's Economy or even DC Universe, but ANY game that revolves around having money has some sort of economy. Even if it isn't very strong.. I mean DCUO Basically had nothing of an economy at first they added in AH a few month's after release.

This community here really is terrible. Like wow. But I hope that all the glitchers do get banned, they seem to have the highest density of assholes so the game would be better off without them. Or separating them from those of us who don't want to cheat would work as well.

EOD!

DC universe

Modern Warfare 3

Runescape (obviously...)

Everquest 2

Planetside 2 (more than one ban wave)

Max Payne 3 (was some sort of invisible glitch if I recall right they banhammered people for using)

Red Dead Redemption (pretty sure they both warned and banned people from that game as well)

and these are just a few titles, pretty much every MMO, especially ones with the whole RPG concept involved loves throwing out the banhammer for glitches... And I don't know why so many people believe rockstar wont launch a ban wave or at very least a player reset when they've done it with previous games.

And FYI, it wouldn't take more than 15 min to compile a list of all the ones that abused the glitch and punish them. The whole purpose of having databases is to keep track of things, it's like a huge memory bank. Even if it didn't log amount of sold cars (which it does) it would be super easy to make a simple shell script which cross reference all players total income to jobs and so on and that way be able to see the people that used the LSC glitch.

Also the worst argument I've come by so far why R* wont ban/reset anyone is that punish people for cheating would be bad for rockstar image and they would lose customers... I mean, they've already gone out and said that most if not all DLC's will be free(?) and expect their income to come from micro transactions and I really doubt that someone who glitched his way to 10$ mil will go out and buy another mil for 20 real dollars...

Copy/Pasted from xbox, most gaming developers kind of have similar guidelines...

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Legal/codeofconduct

F. Cheating & Tampering

  • Do not cheat in a game unless cheats have been deliberately enabled by the developer.
  • Do not use unauthorized hardware or modifications to gain an advantage or disrupt the competitive landscape of Xbox Live.
  • Do not exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches.
  • Do not make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents, to include but not limited to: tenure, Avatar, gamesaves, or Gamerscore.
  • Do not intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods.
  • Do not play any illegitimately obtained software or pirated games.
  • Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users.
  • Do not play a game before it has been authorized for play on the service.

I said action douche nozzle. I didn't say banning or resets. I for one don't care. Is everyone in this community such a dick?

No, thanks for this post. This is the first thread I've seen on this topic that deserves a new thread.

It looks to me that they can easily spot players LS exploiting which is at least a step in the right direction. They might not necessarily ban people, but a warning will be issued. They might even reset the player's money but u doubt it.

However, I'm sure all the players that exploited will get a warning this coming patch and if they do it again, will be banned. Soon there will be new content players will want money for and any sign of the exploit will result in punishment.

Give R* time and I'm sure things will balance out.

Any One Can Spot It Check Your Rockstar Social Club Stats It Shows How Much You Made Off Everything Even Car Selling.

  • Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users.

LOL! This One Right Here.

If nothing does happen I know I will have more skill than someone who glitched their way to success! Not trying to comfort myself as I really don't care what happens. I hope they get reset, but if nothing does happen I can always leave a match. Heck I can just pop into a mission with my friends, and never have to deal with anyone I don't want to. Also Rockstar didn't say? Did you even read this

ROCKSTAR SUPPORT ANSWER

For this, I'd say to use your best judgment. Anything that feels like an exploit is an exploit--For the LS car reselling, that is definitely an exploit that is being patched out.

Players just "playing the game" or doing missions are not considered exploits. There may be some missions players farm like crazy for a huge payout and RP boost that will be adjusted to keep the economy in balance, but players that repeat those missions while they pay out huge are not exploiting. They are just farming one particular mission.

Players that use exploits are easy to find, and repeat offenses may result in a ban to the cheater pool, which works similarly to the cheater pool introduced in Max Payne 3.

Please ask any other questions here about bannable offenses. If you'd like clarity on any piece mentioned above, please also comment here.

Confirmed by Rockstar.

Guess that settles all the FARMING = CHEATING arguments?

Take all of the money I earned back! I only did it twice! ='(

I doubt anything will happen if you only did it twice :) I really think they will only go after those who abused the glitch severely like 10-20million or more. Then again it's still only speculation that anything will happen at all. We have to wait, and see.

Thats the thing there is rockstars economy but there is no user economy. When they do bring the stock market back up and you have large groups of people do things to affect the price of a particular stock is that going to be considered an exploit? DCUO didn't have a user economy at first BUT every knew it would, the AH was already in the WT just not activated.

SOE could not pinpoint every single player that glitched money in DCUO, there is no magical program that is 100% foolproof. They did a game wide money deduction( something TMU that is easier to achieve with dedicated servers than a cloud server )after banning the few they could find. Another thing is games like DCUO, WOW, etc are on dedicated servers which makes it a hell of a lot easier for them to track down players. I wouldn't even expect a money reset from R* because as temperamental as the cloud server they are using is they would probably end up accidentally wiping everyone.

Also DCUO is to this day riddled with speed hacks, etc. The only way SOE can find them is to have a GM keep an eye on them. See, there no magical program or script to record stats, data, etc, etc that is 100% foolproof. They have to manually go out there and find them. This is how it is for the majority of MMO's. Players report another player, once the reports reach a certain threshold the GM's begin to investigate and no, 1 player filing a thousand reports doesn't count. Again these are games on dedicated servers. GTA V is using cloud servers for data saving and I can tell you right now that would be a MESS to comb threw.

Its not as easy as some in this thread are making themselves believe. Look at the COD series, no dedicated servers, no cloud server for saving and it can take months for them to ban just one player who is doing something he/she isn't suppose to.

It seems to me the sensible thing to do here is to look up what the max payne cheater pool was all about rather than simply wildly speculating yes?

Linky...

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/36751/the-max-payne-3-multiplayer-cheater-pool-is-live.html

Worthy things to note from the max payne incident..

1) They warned everyone using Newswire what action they were going to take before doing anything

2) The cheater pool - is not a ban, it is segregated servers just like the bad sport servers

As promised, we've taken steps to quarantine confirmed cheaters in Max Payne 3 Multiplayer. Starting today, anyone we've found using hacked saves, modded games, or other exploits has officially been cordoned off in a dedicated cheater pool, confined to wallow with other unscrupulous reprobates.

you shouldnt blame ppl for using glitches

blame rockstar to release gta online in beta status

if they would had a public beta, most glitches would have been found and would have been fixed... but well - rockstars fault

that's like blaming a rape victim for not wearing a chastity belt. Only YOU are held accountable for your actions. Don't lay blame on others for your choices man.

Did you just equivalate glitching in GTA to rape? GTFO people like yourself take "honesty and intergrity" in gaming WAAAAY to seriously.
