repeated offenses doesn't necessarily mean there going to tell you anything. In max payne, like it refers to, they banned people if they noticed them doing the same crap over and over again. More then likely you wont get a warning.

No, thanks for this post. This is the first thread I've seen on this topic that deserves a new thread.

 

It looks to me that they can easily spot players LS exploiting which is at least a step in the right direction. They might not necessarily ban people, but a warning will be issued. They might even reset the player's money but u doubt it.

 

However, I'm sure all the players that exploited will get a warning this coming patch and if they do it again, will be banned. Soon there will be new content players will want money for and any sign of the exploit will result in punishment.

 

Give R* time and I'm sure things will balance out.

No, but most of them are, ive noticed so far in my short time on these forums. I just don't get it. Why constantly berate and belittle other people. If you can't make a point or disagree with someone without being condescending or just plain dickish I think it says more about you than the person your flaming.

Rockstar are quite clearly saying that people repeatedly taking advantage of exploits will end up only able to play with other exploiters. So people should definitely think before taking advantage of the car sale glitch which they have now officially called an exploit.

The separation of exploiters and non-exploiters is a great idea. I don't want to play with people who have cheated to get the best stuff, they can play with each other.

Dc universe online. There was a glitch that had to do with money and mail. You could basically duplicate money you put in the mail. Soooo many players were mad about it soe did take action and basically gave the boot to dozens of billionaires.

All I said was "they may" and they very well may not. Chances are they won't ban players but will take some form of action.

 

The only thing I can do is go based on what was said in that support reply and the official word is repeat offenses will be banned.

 

Whether or not other games have banned players for glitches has nothing to do with this discussion. Stop straw manning and yelling opinions labeled as fact. Learn to have a normal discussion without getting defensive.
