GTA Online: Mission Difficulty vs Reward

There is a serious problem when it comes to mission difficulty vs reward. Some jobs are extremely time consuming, require coordination and skill, and are generally quite hard. That is fine... however you get crap rewards for all the extra effort. Here's an example, both jobs are unlocked in the 20 range. The job Out of Court Settlement (Martin) requires you to kill some random guy in a car, steal the evidence from his body, loose the cops (2 star, 1 if you put on a mask) and go to Marin's house. Takes about 5 minutes, extremely easy, no deaths, no complications. Awards you $9,000. The job Cops Capacity (Lester, and I'm pretty sure it's unlocked after the Martin one) requires you to go to a supply drop, go to another location in the city and blow up 2 cop cars, go to another location in the city and blow up a van behind a locked gate, go to another location in the city and blow up some bikes, and drive aaaaall the way out to the prison near Sandy Shores and blow up a bus, and loose the cops in a certain time limit while being chased by unshakable 3-stars cops. This missions awards you $5.000. That's ridiculous. I had to try the Lester one about 3 times before I got it, took about 20 minutes. 5 minutes, extremely easy, without a hitch = $9k, 20 minutes, very hard, annoying = $5k. It's not just those missions either... some game modes take 20 minutes and give you $2k.. others take 3 minutes and give you $2k. There needs to be a serious look at the mission reward scaling in this game. Sorry that was kinda long... what do you guys think?

Wait till you try the death from above mission. It was impossible for me to beat alone. I thought I was going to get a bunch of cash but I think you get like 5g

I think a few missions should pay much better, some being: High priority case, before you get the chopper drop unlocked finding a helicopter is hard as hell. Sometimes they don't even spawn. You also need to have people with you who are well coordinated to take out the attack chopper and escape. It took me and my friends ages to do this and we on got a 7k payout. Like what? There is more, I just can't think of the off the top of my head.

I agree with this. f*ck that mission.

 

 

I also agree with the OP. Don't get me wrong, I understand that missions can be "mastered" and thus become easier the more you play them, but a mission like Death From Above is a bitch to play and it gives very little reward.

 

Missions like Base Invaders, for example, were hard to play at first, but thanks to the high reward they give which causes you to do it over and over, it's much easier to master a high paying job. Not sure about anyone else, but personally I can now beat Base Invaders by myself and in in less than 7 minutes.

yeah that's why I stick with base invaders and a titan of a job, they pay well for the challenge/time. Titan=10k Invaders=25k

base invaders would be even easier if you could drop stickies from a heli. For some reason your buddy can hold a big ass lmg but not a small bomb. Then you would just slowly fly over and bombs away XD Then go to the cargobob and get out.
