A list of race ideas which no one will probably read.

Considering a lot of my other threads about ideas to GTA: Online have not gotten any replies/views (*sadface*), I do not expect this to get such either. And I know these forums are not R* official, I am just posting this for my own amusement and to see what you have to say about the ideas.

 

1. No Collisions-setting

For all people that dislike the people who hit you in a vehicle race, this option would be cool.

 

2. Drag Races

Because, why not?

 

3. Optional slipstreaming

"Catch-up" does not remove slipstreaming, although some people said it did.

 

4. Custom car races

No limits in what vehicle you can use, as long as it is customized. This race-mode should be in a different slot to normal races/GTA-races (not as a setting, but when you join or host, you can choose Custom Car races instead of Races).

 

5. Bad Sport for people who go opposite direction in Lap Races

You get Bad Sport for blowing a person's Personal Vehicle, but going other direction in a Race and possibly ruin someone's clean win by colliding in a Race gives you no penalty?

I would be on board for this.

I also think a multi-athlon style race would be cool. You could go from out in the ocean on a BOAT to a dock where a CAR is waiting to a dirt road where a BIKE is stored to a CHOPPER out in the desert that takes you to a mountain where you have to RUN the rest of the way. It would also be pretty cool if you had multiple team-mates that handled each leg of the race like a relay.

I think this mode would be retarded and ridiculous... I want it right now.

I was thinking of a motor vehicle triathlon, similar to your idea.

i like 2 3 4 and 5... the no collision thing would be really difficult to put into play.

Yes I agree, there are too few options when it comes to racing.

I'm surprised there arent any races with (dirt)bikes starting at the top of the mountain. There are many nice roads/tracks still unused. Maybe starting at an airport flying high > parachuting to mt chilliad > driving down of the mountain on a bike
