Police spawning in my apartment? Wtf!

So I just got a 3 star wanted level and ran into my apartment to hide because its such a manly thing to do. Ran down into my bedroom to find 2 cops with shotguns waiting for me and then another one at the top of my stairs by the front door when I tried running away from them. Needless to say, I died. Firstly I thought players were safe from police when inside their SAFEhouse and secondly why the hell have they got guns in a weapon free zone? Cheers Rockstar, thats another $2000 obamacare bill down the drain. Happened to anyone else?

Yeah thats happened a few times. Mainly if you try shooting him with a gun without ammo. He twigs on and pulls out his own. Although I have been shot while running out with the swag aswell.

As long as you are out of sight (as in they are searching for you and not directly behind you). By the time I actually entered my apartment, they were back on me again. Im guessing it was just a random f*cked up glitch.
