Secura
The level cap for the game is actually 999, but you stop unlocking things at level 125. As for how they got to such a high level so quickly, seeing as we're in the early days of GTA Online it's not surprising to see people exploiting a few of the games' glitches to level up quicker. Though it has been nearly two weeks since Online initially launched so it's not that surprising that they're a third of the way to the maximum level cap. iiGh0STt
yes it is... you would have to play weeks to get a level that high.. without stopping. impossible without exploits. there should be a level cap. either way, i merked both of these idiots with 2 bullets, and little effort.... now i am just waiting to collect the 9g bounty they put on me. lvel 226 and still playing like a noob.... just goes to show someones level doesnt mean diddly squat. Grand Theft Savage
Some niggas just have too much free time... Either that, or they're cheating their asses off Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/627083-level-226/#findComment-1063734646 Share on other sites
Secura
No, it really isn't. Replaying missions for a few hours can gain you a quick twenty to thirty levels with relative ease, trust me when I say I've seen players with a much higher "level" who haven't cheated or hacked into the game, hell the only thing they've done is replay a lot of the well paying missions. Fail_At_GTA
Honestly its not that hard. Some people I know are getting really quick rank ups at higher levels. Also, if I'm not mistaken, if you haven't turn on your PS3 the patches aren't there so they could have been playing an unpatched mission the entire time without turning off their consoles. You could get 20k RP in just a couple minutes pre-patch. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/627083-level-226/#findComment-1063734701 Share on other sites
iiGh0STt
again, like i said, it is hard to believe anyone could be that high of a level without exploits. replaying missions as you mentioned, was an exploit. sure, you can call someone and hope for the same mission now, but it's not the same as replaying over and over... which is simply pathetic and boring all to "look" like the best player.... clearly, they are not any good at the game or they would not have to do the same mission over and over to lvl up. Honestly its not that hard. Some people I know are getting really quick rank ups at higher levels. Also, if I'm not mistaken, if you haven't turn on your PS3 the patches aren't there so they could have been playing an unpatched mission the entire time without turning off their consoles. You could get 20k RP in just a couple minutes pre-patch. again, exploits = pathetic. fish61324
I'm level 50 and haven't really felt like I've been doing much or playing a lot.... I could imagine someone reaching level 226 if all they do is play GTA 10-20 hours a day. iiGh0STt
yea im a lvl 30 and i did not start playing online until about a week after release. that, is a lot of playing.. but also, not at the same time. i tend to leave the game on and run around the apt (my apt, not gta apt) doing things and then return to it. but still, i thought i played a lot. lvl 60 is playing a lot, and doing well at it i think... anything above that at this time is just sad.
