Whats your tips in "survival" ?

Recommended Posts

There are at least 4 I've played. A trainyard, industrial park, trailer park and air-junkyard. My tips are, find a place with cover from the air and everyone actively work together to guard any entrances or angles of fire. In the trailer park, there are a nice set of alcoves behind the tattoo shop and in the boneyard (air-junkyard) there's a barn you can hide in. In industrial, you can block the area between the mills... I don't remember what the train yard looks like.

Play with people who have mics so you all can communicate. I've played with people without mics and with mics. The guys without mics obviously can't call for help so when they randomly die, you won't know what's happening beyond seeing the message on the screen.

Find cover and stay there. I play with too many people who think it's CoD and just run around. They always die every round but never learn. It's more strategic that people might think. Learn the rounds that the heli's come so you know when to find shelter.

I may be wrong but I think heli's come on rounds 3, 7 and 10. A bit like Modern Warfare 3 survival, each round a heli comes, there'll be one more than last time. Although three come on round 10, you can also get the mini gun which works wonders on heli's so it's a bit easier.

Just watch where everyone else goes. That's how I learned all the good spots. Try to play Boneyard if you can, by far the easiest one with a lot of good spots.

Jup, i dont have mic, but i try to help others the best i can, i dont run around, i played tonight with 3 other good players, we reached wave 10, 3 times, 20.000$ ..

have got up mutch in rank also, even shooting skill both the player and myself :)

Boneyard. Stay on the roof then in the waves where the helis come in go into the big warehouse. The waves are 3,7 and 10 I believe. Just tell people what to do other the mic and if you haven't got one, just hope they are on the same wavelength as you.

If everyone does this then 90% of the time you will do 10 rounds easy and quickly.

Taking cover in the bonyard hangar works well too. I've made it to wave 10 six or seven times now using that strategy. It helps on a 4 player team to have one person outside diverting the NPCs but I agree with the person above about playing this as a death match. Those almost always result in failure.

The only survival I don't care for is that one up in Sandy Shores with the rednecks.. made it to wave 10 there only once and that was with the help of some very organized players.

if you are good and have a plan and can actually shoot down the helis quickly you can stay on the roof the whole time, shooting choppers is kinda hard though unless you have the mini gun, then its quite easy. Get two guys to shoot choppers, pick two that can actually do it, and the other two keep killing the guys that spawn so they dont kill the guys shooting the choppers. If you have skilled chopper slayers its quite simple to stay on the roof the whole time. if you all try and shoot choppers the guys on the ground will kill you all pretty quick, so you gotta know whos job it is to do what, and it helps if they are good at that job. Some guys couldnt kill a chopper if you gave them all day with an invincibility cheat and unlimited ammo.

On Boneyard There Is A Bus Near 2 Broken Cars In A Garage You Can Camp That And They Only Come At You From One Way. Also Don't Forget Merryweather Is Available To Help and Use Food Items From Inventory To Regain Health. P.S. Drinks Don't Work In Cover.

me and a friend have made it to wave 10 too many times to count on the rail yard survival. you get $20,000 plus a whole heap of RP 3000/3500 roughly : trick for this one is to stay in the rail carriages (looks like a giant long dumpster) under the roof, one up one end and the other down the other near the box cars and starting point that way both your backs are covered. best weapon to use for the start point end of the open rail carriage is a sawed off shotgun and then switch to and automatic rifle of uzi for the guys that's creep up near the palm tree and side of the box cars. after every wave is complete quickly jump out and get armour and health then sprint back to the rail carriage and bunker down.

Play dockyard and go to opposite ens of where u start climb up the containers and onto the roof. Cover behind the vents on the roof and its a blindspot they all climb up the same places just shot gun them as they come up. Only danger is the helicopters on the later rounds. Easily get to round ten on your own after a few tries

Always leave one alive (the last one) and go for weapons/ammo pickups before killing.

This is the first time I've found someone who's smart enough to do this. Every time I'm in a game there's always someone if not everyone who's hunting down the last guy instead of picking up the stuff
