GTA online racing

What are your experiences of it so far?

 

I love it, it's a great way to make money - and the rewards of modifications are a great incentive too.

 

However - "catch up" is an awful feature which ruins races, yet so many people seem to use it. Can be so frustrating when you are having a good race, yet people who aren't still manage to catch up and overtake you.

 

Also - super cars are fun, but do we really need to race with them every time?? Other categories are just as fun, but for different reasons - even SUV's!

 

& also I am trying to work out what the best cars for each category are, any ideas would be great.

 

Off road: ?

Compact: Blista?

Muscle: Dominator & Gauntlet

SUV: ?

Sports car: ?

Super car: Entity XF / Adder?

I'm loving the racing the most even though most turn into bumper cars rather than pure racing. Having said that i did hook up with a group of players yesterday night and had 5 races back to back without a single intentional collision. Unfortunatly the wife called me for dinner otherwise i would have got to know them better and maybe even raced them again, dont you just hate it when real life gets in the way!

 

When im ready id like to join a mature crew that has an emphasis on racing but need to hunt around a bit more first
