Now that I have you attention, I think some of you need some perspective. Take a moment to read and then tell me how much of a fa**ot I am.

 

I know this is a lot to read for some internet trolls, but give it a try "little buddy". I know you can do it.

 

Lots of people are looking at one thing and one thing alone and most are only thinking of either changing what they hate or keeping only what they like. The game has good and bad things. The mix is currently wacky. I honestly can't imagine how they came up with the mix they have.

 

GTA Online needs

• Psychotic senseless murder of anyone at any time.
• By default you are hidden on the radar from psychotics, unless they are willing to pay to find you.
• Freedom to blow sh*t up with impunity (apart from pissing off the cops and other players who might put a bounty on your head.)
• Remove 'bad sport' for blowning up cars. It is ridiculous.
• Stop spawning players right next to their murderer.
• Raise the cost of being able to harass players. If you want to hunt live bodies, you can pay Lester for the pleasure.
• Pay Lester off so he won't give up your location. Outbid the hunter. If you don't have the cash, sucks to be you.
• Car got blown up? Good thing you've got insurance. A good policy should only run you $500 out of pocket for the deductible. It sucks, but it's better than the exorbitant rates they seem to charge now.
• The "awareness" system from story mode. Making a lot of noise? Shows up on the mini-map.
• Riding in cop cars, or a modded car with a CB or some sh*t, shows the current or last known location of any currently wanted players.

Why

• I don't mind dying knowing my murder cost someone else something, they just happened upon me, or I drew attention to myself. I did something stupid or couldn't afford to protect myself. It's a dangerous world and there are consequences.
• I want to murder people, but I want it to be more challenging than following a blip on a map and I want to know that others are either paying to find me or bad luck got me killed.
• I want to blow up cars. It's my favorite way to kill. But I shouldn't have to pay the guy I killed. At the same time I don't want to hide an awesome car away because someone else might blow it up and cost me a fortune.
• Sometimes I want to kill. Sometimes I want to hide.

I'm sure there's a lot more that could be done to make the game more interesting and less of the "balanced toward the imbalanced" world that it currently is.

 

In before the "OMG f*ckING CAREBARE, IT'S GTA YOU MURDER PEOPLE fa**otTTT, TROLOLOLOL" or "You must like raping babies".

 

Chill the f*ck out people and think about all of the systems working together and not just the one thing you love or hate.

way too complicated

the basics are fine as is, you both see eachother so unlike most crybabies like to pretend there is a level playing field

the spawn system could use some tweaking to help prevent spawn killing

like an option to spawn elsewhere, passive is pretty useless since they can still run you over

and bad sports could probably use some tweaks to differentiate between actuall griefing and normal play (though personally I never had any problems with it, get some warnings now and than but that's it)
