I found a Submarine! (Location + Pics)

Me and my friend were goofing around with a Jetski when we found this parked against a dock.

I'm level 69, he's level 28.

 

Sadly, only one person can get in at a time, and when I try to exit, it surfaces before I get into the water.

when I tried to hop out while at the bottom of the sea, it just started rising, and I nearly drowned.

 

Does it spawn at Rank 28 or Rank 69 though?

 

Honestly, I'm not sure myself, that's why I posted both of our ranks.

 

 

The worst thing about the sub is that it clearly shows two seats, but only one person can get in at a time.

I can only assume that Subs are as well.

A mate has the house next to it, hes lvl 29.

While i was delivering him his so-hardly-wanted schafter with my cargobob, ive seen the submarine.

Wanted to take it to a ride in alamo sea.. but sadly the submarine decides to push around the cargobob mid-air which resulted in me crashing without any possibility to take control of the chopper again.

I can confirm that it spawns at 28. Anyone got it at a lower level?

There's one on the right side of map aswell. Haven't got exact location. But flew over it in chopper. It was just in water slightly off a beach if I'm right it's near sandy shores area to the right of the deathmatch

I've experienced this glitch as well, and have found a solution.

 

When the Sub spawns, it can't be moved on the horizontal plane of movement, but it can be raised vertically by the Cargobob.

So when you pick it up, and try to move it with the bob, it'll spaz out, and cause you to crash.

 

To fix this, land your Heli, then get in the sub, and move it a little bit, then get back to the heli, and you can now airlift the sub.

Thanks for posting this. Wanted to do some underwater exploring online but couldn't find a sub on my own. Now let's just hope someone finds scuba gear.

I don't think it's possible to get scuba gear yet.

 

In single player, exiting the sub underwater gives you the gear, but in multiplayer, you're stuck at the ocean floor without any air.

 

TBH, I think it'll just be an added on feature later.

lol, I was just waiting for a sub to finally spawn so I could try this, and it's pretty funny to watch the blips flying out toward you, then circling back and forth looking for you. The first time I did it, some dude actually flew so low that he crashed his maverick into the ocean, and I went up high enough to let him see me nice and warm in my sub before he started his swim back to shore. The second time, someone followed me halfway along the south coast, then a second blip came looking, too, and shot the first one down (then a while later it happened again with 2 different players)...

lol that's a pussy way, anyway, maybe there are something in the sea that we haven't found yet in online.
