How long does it take to update in game?

How ever long it takes their servers to process it, and probably have somebody check over it to make sure it's okay and all.

It only took 10 days for my emblem to show up in game.

The emblem thing is not so good, though.

I checked it out in the shop, and it's the emblem on the hood, but less than a foot in diameter. Like, a tiny decal right in the middle of the hood. Also, it has a white square background on it, so it'd look like sh*t without a white car.

It'd be nice if it were adjustable in the mod shop--where you put it on the car and how big it is.

Will it automatically change on my cars?

You can make the background "invisible" when you design the emblem. The big square at the side where shows all your colours is the background colour. Click that, and there is a square at the top left with a line through it. That removes the background.
