GUCCI_MANE_PIZZA_PARTY
The Xbox disks were both completely full. R* didn't want one full installation disk, one 1/8 filled installation disk, and a play disk. Having three disks would probably have costed triple the amount and have taken longer to produce the Xbox versions. So to save costs and maximize profit, they figured out what could be put on two Xbox disks, and then made the ps3 version equal. Just my theory. fawks20000
Lacked features? It's a great game but if you really think about it, there were a hefty amount of things omitted from the previous games. Lack of melee weapons. Minigames. Things like that. jamieleng
Sorry, but this is a thinly veiled console war bait. They are never going to reimplement all features from previous GTA's, even if they had unlimited storage. cholesterol
Rockteur
Not to mention all the features Rockstar falsely advertised were in the game (additional planes, jets, weapons, interactivity, etc.)

nuer
There were enough features, but with next-gen we are finally going to see what Rocktstar can really do. Microsoft was just holding them back this gen.

My point is the games will regress in features for the sake of the online experience. They're not going to find balance because right now, in video gaming, online is the cash cow. Well, I have had no part in that, as I've never played online or downloaded paid dlc. Edited October 12, 2013 by jamieleng

Cyper
What OP probably meant is that GTA V did not keep enough of the content found in GTA IV and previous games in the franchise, not that the game itself lacked in content.

This game has activity, but I wouldn't go so far as say PACKED. There is a lot of things that could have been included in singleplayer but isn't. And what R* said about heists is something completely different than what is in singleplayer. How many heists beside the first and last had a payout? Plan heists, maybe the "illusion" of planning but same script both times. Maybe your a$$ is packed after your boyfriend has his way with you... Yeah. jongameslap
Please understand that Grand Theft Auto V is an extremely ambitious game, especially for it being available to play on current-gen hardware such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The amount of hard work and dedication that was poured into this game is unbelievable - this game was delivered by an experienced team of dedicated developers who have properly learned how to use and manipulate current-gen hardware to create massively ambitious game titles, and that's something I can appreciate. GTA V was everything I expected, and more.
