why name a char?

not sure, you don't get many slots for the name either, i had to go with MistyMounds because I didn't have room for a space.

yeah but why are u able to name them? would have been cool if it would work actually, but instead nobody ever will see your char name

Well I named my character Johnny in memory of Johnny Klebitz.

 

R.I.P. Johnny Klebitz.

 

And why are you able to name them... well, for lulz, I suppose.

Names should be used for everything in game. The player list should use your chars name (Click on players and you can see their gamertag or see their gamertag card.)

Maybe it's for brothers/sisters playing on the same account? So they can give their character their own name which makes it easy to find out which character belongs to you.

You know, because their appearance wouldn't let you know, because brother and sisters would have the exact same looking character. LOL

I think it's just for you to differentiate between your multiple characters. Haven't made a second one myself.

Just so you can tell which character is which. It's also for you, so you can role-play a little bit if that's what you're into.

You said it yourself, you will see the name. If you care to give your character a name, do it. If not, name him Character 1 for all I care, but why complain about an extra feature? Seriously, is there no end to what people will whine about?
